Very good, english speaking driving school.did it for a refresher course and now i’m more confident

EDS is a foreigner driving license, if you could not speak well Japanese like me, I will recommend to this driving school. They teach for driving practice at Saitama, because I am taking Gaimen kirikae (Foreign license converter to Japanese license) their instructors are nice and guide me professionally, each point where you need to be careful and safety checkpoints. I also guide by them and I got passed my foreign exchange driving license today got 80 marks. I am really happy and thanks for their service and guide me with a lot of information to help me pass the test.

Due to the world gone crazy, I had two months and one chance to pass the "skill check drive" needed for the licence exchange (gaimen kirikae) before my foreign licence expired. Had never driven on the left side of the road and the last time I was in control of any car was several years back.

Having read horror stories about most people failing the exam many times before passing, I clearly needed some unknown amount of practice.

I chose EDS school, firstly because their website provided the relevant information the clearest.
Secondly, the booking and payment could be done online.
Thirdly, I didn't have to pay for a full long course, but could adjust according to how I was progressing.

After booking I got an e-mail explaining what station to go and that I'd be picked up by the instructor from there.
The practice took place on a secluded driving course with cars from other schools also going around which simulates real traffic (and the driving exam). Coming from the middle of Tokyo I was absolutely in love with the greenery surrounding the location.

The instructor was calming and helpful - I learned all the tips and tricks that are required for the test, got annotated maps of the course, explanations about why people fail, what vocabulary the proctors use etc. Finally we went through the actual Samezu driving test A-E courses on the practice course.
The school does both manual and automatic practice. My driving test was to be with a manual, so that's the car I booked for the school. But when I got a touch overwhelmed the first time behind the wheel by, of all things, the blinkers and the windscreen wipers being swapped, the instructor suggested we switch to automatic until I learnt to tell my left hand from my right without having to deal with the wrong-sided gearstick on top of that. A very insightful idea and worked wonders.
Besides the professional aspect, the instructor I worked with was a very fun person to chat with just about everything.

I had no issues booking the driving sessions for pretty much exactly when I wanted them - ended up taking three lessons all a bit over a week apart.
Passed the licence change exam on the first try. ;)

I definitely wouldn’t have achieved getting my license without them! I started from scratch and they helped me build my confidence and anticipation when driving. Especially here in Tokyo the streets are so narrow with people walking everywhere.
All the instructors are very kind, patient and knowledgeable. They taught me all the right driving techniques I needed to pass the driving test.
I’m glad I found them! I would highly recommend!

I got a Japanese driver's license but haven't been driven for a while. I avail EDS's practice driving services thru Paper driver to rebuild my confidence. I'm really satisfied with their service bringing back my confident back on the road. The assistance and instructions were clear in plain English during the lessons, so in no time it made me felt nervous even on the general road and expressway. After just only completing a 2 sessions, I'm back following the the safety driving with EDS help! Super recommended even for a Paper driver like me!

I got my AT Japanese driver's license, all thanks to EDS!
I started my journey with zero driving experience. However, it wasn't a problem at all, because the instructors (special shout out to Aki and Jem!) at EDS are so helpful and professional.
All the lessons and practice were in fluent English, and if needed the instructor was able to help at the driver license center (Konosu all of the paperwork and staff communication is in Japanese).

Thanks for your guidance, tips and advise during the practice driving. It helped me understand the Japan rules and laws of the road, as well as what to do during the practical exam. I passed the exam on the 2nd tries but I could have done it the first if I practice more and fixed my bad driving habits. I highly recommend EDS International! You won't be misguided by misunderstanding what needs to be done, as they explain in plain and clear English what is safety driving all about which is the key to pass and acquire your Japan license. My instructor was Sir Aki and Sir Jemmerson. Every driving lessons was very fun and enjoyable but also informative. They broke everything down so it was easy to understand and follow and was very patient with me when I got confused or was unsure of anything and went through everything again as much as needed till it was imprinted in my mind. All in all i had an incredible experience and would highly recommend EDS international driving school.

A number of English driving school you can find on internet offering a cheap prices but never explain you who they are. EDS International really offers a great quality, and value worth your money to learn the Japan rules of the road preparing you to pass the exam. The instructor has a good command of English and communicate professionally. I felt sometime they got angry but it is their way to motivate you more, and I think their secret to keep being patient and young looking). Highly recommended if you want to be successful getting your Japan driver's license. Forget about stress and frustration, no luck in passing the exams, and EDS will explain you why.
