11Limited selection of beers; no actual real ale, contrary to the advertising. Staff shout 'irashaimasaayy' like it's a ramen shop but generally can't speak English. But at the weekend it's one of the few obvious standing bars with people standing and mingling, so you can understand why it's popular.
Great atmosphere of people who give you some opportunity to talk to them. Talk to girls and guys alike here and it's normal.
Not a great picture but food is lovely and the service is very good and friendly. Definitely try the 20 dumplings for 1000¥. Best Authentic japanese dining we found in the city
Very crowded on Friday and Saturday night. From 5 to 7 pm u'll get Happy time to njoy discounted cocktail and beer everyday.

しかし、静かに食べたい人には向いてないかも知れません。あと、タバコの匂いなどを気にされる方はおすすめしません。

渋谷に限らず、目に付けば、仕事仲間とギネス1杯とおつまみ食べて30分でさくっと切上げます、時々ですがもう30年。変わらぬ店に乾杯です。当時俳優座のハブに初めて行ったときは斬新に感じました。いまだハブもどきはあっても、超えるようなチェーン店はないですね。
Nice place to hang out and connect with people of you are traveling alone. In the weekend it is very crowded. Be aware, you are allowed to smoke inside so it tends to be smokey. Drinks are reasonable quality and price for Japan (lots of ice in the glass). It is underground (basement) so if you don't like underground places, then it's not for you.
Its different than in the US because smoking is very much OK over there while at the bar. However, we were able to enjoy a few drinks and people are mindful not to blow a puff of smoke in your direction. Bartender was fast to serve even with a full house. And everyone generally seemed happy. Prices were decent and the drinks delicious. There are a few HUBS we stopped in to grab a drink. I would recommend every single one of them. A positive was it was clean despite people smoking in the place.
Come for the happy hour jumbo size gin & tonics, leave before the second-hand smoke inhalation, skeezy English teachers and stank of desperation causes you to lose faith in humanity.
I got robbed there, the manager suggested it was my fault (even though my stuff was right never to me). Avoid this.
