This small barbershop in Azabujuban offers a good service at a reasonable price. I left there perfectly satisfied, and I'm a hard client to please.
The cut, shampoo and shave combo includes some nice extras, such as a great shoulder and head massage.
They're foreigner friendly, and the staff speaks a little English, but things will be easier if you also speak a little Japanese.

Long standing business, attention to detail and very courteous with foreigners. I was welcomed warmly and well listened to. Execution and outcome of haircut was exactly how I wanted it. Hats off to the gentlemen.

This is the best cut I had in Tokyo! I usually like to go to cheap places like 2000 yen but I sometimes do 3,000 yen. This is 3,300 yen and you will be blown away with how good they are. Tamashiro san is the man! They use a razor to cut the hair near the ears it’s included in the package. They also give a little massage for free. It was so good that I added on for him to wash my hair and shave my face which was extra. But I felt like a VIP! I highly recommend this place you will walk out feeling like a rockstar! And you will thank me later! This will probably be the only place I go to in Tokyo

Best barber in Tokyo. So cozy. I nap every time. Barbers speak English and keeps flash cards for every customer that records hair shapes and how to cut it

I cut my hair in this place a couple of times, the staff is kind ans the place is clean. Until one day I was attended by the owner, a rude guy, he was not making the haircut as I asked, when I tell him to please fix a little bit some area, he replied with angry face Urusai Ne.

Very cozy, relaxing spot for a truly authentic barbershop experience! Barbers are extremely friendly and have an incredible touch. Foreigners are very welcome and they even speak a little English. Definitely recommend!

Very close to Azabujuban station. Owner is very good at cutting for short hair. Place is very clean. Highly recommended.

当時は床屋と美容院の二店あり、少女隊のメンバーも通ってたとか
うる覚えなんで間違っているかもしれないけど
でもすごい懐かしい、まだ頑張っていたなんて素晴らしい

Got a great haircut here today. The staff was welcoming, experienced and spoke little English which was enough to explain them exactly what I wanted. Good place for a cut and shave in Azabujūban

Have come here half a dozen times. Staff has great attitude and skills to match. They are meticulous and patient with my requests. As long as you make it clear what’s desired they’ll cut it for you. Reasonable price for the area too. Newly renovated (as of October 2018)

One of the best English-speaking barber shop in Tokyo. Moderate price (¥3,000 for cutting). 5 minutes from Azabu-juban station. Its better to make reservation before in the weekend.

Classic Japanese hair cut experience with optional shave, shoulder massage, scalp massage etc. Expensive but worth it.

It's partly my fault for not speaking Japanese very well, but I did bring a lot of photos of my previous haircuts from multiple angles to show the barber. Despite that, the barber cut it in a very different way. I have an undercut hairstyle and he didn't fade it well. I'm growing my hair out a bit and he literally took off 5-6 cm from the back without even asking me. I came here because my regular spot was closed for the week. I definitely won't be coming back.

Shop was very reasonable when compared to other shops in Japan. It was 3000¥ for a haircut and short (but great) shoulder massage. The staff speak enough English to understand you and do a good job. I just showed the barber a few pictures and answered a few questions and left with a cut that I am very happy with. I plan on using this shop for as long as I live in Tokyo.

Amazing location and (old - in a respectable sense) place, with proper service, warm staff and the cut was one of the best I have had in spite of my hair being anything but Japanese.
Mr Owner Nishiharasan is, if I understood well, the descendant of the founder of this shop in 1818!

Cut was very meticulous and clean as was the place itself, English-friendly, 3000 yen for good cut and the included (surprisingly effective) head/ shoulder massage was spot on.
