20マユコさんのワークショップは、単に日本料理の作り方を学ぶだけではなく、楽しいものであり、日本のライフスタイルと文化の魂です。真由子は自分の仕事に真の情熱を持っており、それはワークショップ中にはっきりと感じられます。
I participated in one of Mayuko's ramen and gyoza classes. It was an awesome experience, the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Mayuko is not only great at teaching the culinary but also the cultural aspects of Japan. Also, the recipes are indeed quick and very delicious. Highly recommend!
We took a ramen and gyoza class with Mayuko-san in her beautiful Tokyo apartment. It was an amazing experience! She is so passionate about food and culture and was generous about sharing her tips ans insights with us. The food was delicious and we feel ready to take the Ramen and Gyoza recipe back to our own kitchen in Portugal
I had a great time with Mayuko. She is super friendly and nice. The cooking experience at her kitchen was great - a cozy yet well-equipped kitchen. She didn't just teach me how to make some of the most traditional Japanese dishes, but she also shared a lot of helpful tips and great recommendations too. I'm both impressed and inspired by Mayuko's passion and energy:)
Highly recommended to anyone visiting Tokyo!
By far our favorite activity while in Japan for the first time. Mayuko’s cooking class is perfectly planned and executed to give those with all levels of cooking expertise a great experience. The ramen and gyoza class was delicious and easy; we’ve already made it again at home. I would recommend to anyone who loves food and loves cooking!
Had so much fun with Mayuko learning to cook some traditional Japanese dishes. This is my second time cooking with her and I hope to come back again soon!
Mayuko is really amazing: she can teach you how to make amazing traditional japanese meals and make you feel as comfortable as if you were home while doing it. She can also adapt to any food restriction you may have and still make you prepare the greatest meal. Strongly recommend it!
I have been participating the Survival Class Series. Mayuko’s home/kitchen was welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxed. We made delicious homestyle meals by following easy steps clearly explained by Mayuko. She also provided the recipe in the end of the class so that the menu could be recreated at home. I love the fact that these cooking classes are not only about making a meal but also cultural exchanges and experiences.
I can highly recommend this unique activity to anyone interested in Japanese homestyle cooking.
During the planning of my first trip to Japan, I considered temples, gardens and an imperial something or other. I decided to make my trip about my favorite subject.food. Normal people consider visiting an ancient temple as a way to learn about the culture.over a thousand years ago! The best way to learn about Tokyo's current culture is by exploring its food. I decided to sign up for Mayukos's food class. Ms. Mayuko was so welcoming, sweet and knowledgeable. She was so organized and had proven techniques. I would definitely plan a future class with her and highly recommend her cooking classes.
We took the panda bento box cooking class with Mayuko and loved every minute of the experience! Mayuko is very warm and welcoming. We felt instantly comfortable in her lovely home. She was patient in explaining how to prepare everything and made it fun. She shared how to make proper matcha tea, which was a nice way to start the class. I highly recommend Mayuko's Little Kitchen!
I have taken two classes with Mayuko and I can not wait to take more! Her home is welcoming and comfortable and she always has been happy to answer my questions about the food and give recommendations on variations. You'll learn to cook fantastic food with recipes you can actually make again and will definitely have a wonderful time at her class.
It was a magical tour through Japanese cuisine tastes and flavors. With the exceptional Mayuko as a guide.
Took the lesson as a family, gyoza and ramen, very welcoming, very good english, and, more importantly, amazing result both the gyoza and the ramen were easy to make and excelent!
We've had a wonderful time with Mayuko!
She's lovely, very knowledgeable and an excellent cook and instructor.
We made chicken with leek sauce, fried tofu filled with meet, winter melon in dashi and cold somen noodles (which were very tasty and refreshing). The food turned out great and we learned a lot about basic Japanese ingredients and everyday Japanese cooking. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly.
Highly recommended for anyone interested in Japanese food beyond sushi and ramen! I will definitely come back for another class.
Excellent experience, fantastic teacher! I am so happy I found these cooking classes. They are fun and handy to navigate in the supermarket in Japan and venture into cooking delicious but straightforward Japanese recipes. I cannot recommend Survival Cooking enough!
I really enjoyed Mayuko's Japanese cooking class. The class atmosphere is relaxed, fun and welcoming. And the recipes are very practical, and you can easily replicate them in your home because you can find all ingredients Mayuko uses in her recipes in the supermarket, and she'll give you tips and advice to prepare everything by yourself. And finally, the dishes were delicious!
I highly recommend Mayko's classes if you want to experience real everyday Japanese food.
During the last few years, we attended several cooking classes with Mayuko, in person in Tokyo and online as well.
We love her sparkling personality. Her lessons are always full of humor, paired with great cooking advise. The result is always yummy)
I have attended two Japanese survival cooking classes at Mayuko’s. I love the fact that she cooks with seasonal and also local ingredients and she always gives fun and health information about the products she uses. We all participate and at the end we enjoy the lovely food, always well laid out in lovely Japanese tableware. It’s always fun. I really recommend her classes.
I've been going to Mayuko's Survival Class every month since summer 2021. Mayuko teaches us how to use ingredients we find in a typical Japanese grocery store. She explains the use and the cultural history, then we make a 4-5 delicious dishes that we eat together for lunch. At the end of the class, Mayuko gives us the recipes with photos of the ingredients so we can shop at the local store and can make the dishes at home. This class has been pure joy to take, and now I confidently make several authentic Japanese dishes at home. She also planned a private team-building class that was well received by my group. Even if you can only attend 1 class, it is well worth your time. I highly recommend Mayuko's Little Kitchen.
