26It was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. Cats were mean though lol. They would only come if you have some treat for them.
¥350 cover charge + ¥200/10 mins, excluding tax.
Staff are quite unfriendly. Their cats are very realistic- they only play with you if you pay ¥500 for treats- if they they’re just snoozing the whole time.
Paid ~ ¥1050+ for 30 minutes. The time includes the time it takes for you to change shoes, put your bag in the locker, wash hands, take your bag from the locker, lock the locker, AND return the key. You’re not allowed to carry the cats as well- but the staff are. We had to walk ourselves into the play area too- no explanation- no guidance. Just what we cannot do when we play with the cats.
The cats are adorable, and extremely gorgeous. It’s not the cats’ fault. The staff on the other hand, unfriendly. Very off-putting.
Let me first say, I love cats! So this was pretty fun no matter what. The pricing is based on a minimum time and you have to purchase a drink. The drinks are self serve with several options. The price for the time was a little steep and many of the cats are head shy surprisingly. The have several very cute breeds, which was cool to see, but I would have expected they'd be a little more friendly and social. Overall, the staff were very kind, the place was clean and cute, but the cats were a bit withdrawn unless you had treats.
猫は凄く可愛いです。ですが、中に入って、スタッフに言われた通りアルコールで手を消毒し、ロッカーに荷物を預けて、スリッパに履き替える時間も料金に含まれます。普通は猫の部屋に入る時に料金発生しませんか？勿論帰る時に、スタッフが新しく入ってきた人に説明をしている間も料金が発生します。なので、けっこうな金額になります。
行く前に調べてから行けば良かった。
We did not get to visit this location because we were traveling with our 8 year old daughter and they have a rule that they do not allow anyone under 13. We were given directions to another location within walking distance. This location is on the fourth floor of a commercial building on the corner across from the park and the train station. The entrance to the building is a little hidden and we walked past it 3 times before seeing the small sign next to the elevator.
Interesting place to visit but quite expensive, 350 base fee + 200/10 min. It's one of those things you'd do only once. The cats don't care about people unless you have treats, and if you try to pet one without a treat they will usually move away. The most effective way to use your money is to go in and buy a lollipop treat (500 yen) and stay for 10 minutes. The cats will go nuts for anyone with a lollipop.
It is a little stressful having to keep track of every minute, plus taking off your shoes/getting drinks etc all count towards your time. Overall it seemed like a great way to part tourists with their money, plus a little novelty factor.
