I came to listen to some great anisong music and to have a good time, and I got exactly that. Friendly staff, great DJs, great people all around that bond together with music. Will come again during another Japan visit.

A rather legendary location, Akihabara MOGRA has unquestionably earned its reputation. They are deservedly well-known and, on occasion, crammed to the gills with devoted repeat customers and both new and old customers alike, whether it be for small events, keystone events, or once-a-year events. If you get to know the partygoers here—from otaku to music lovers—you'll always be a buddy in spite of the occasionally wild atmosphere!

There's no need to worry if you can't make it here because certain events are being streamed on Twitch! If you're in town, I encourage you to drop by here for an event and experience it for yourself!? ? ? ? ? !

The person who collects the cover charges, which can differ from event to event, welcomes you as soon as you enter. You will also immediately come across the bar, where you may spend your one free drink ticket (in the form of a pin) for either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. The beverages are moderately priced, but you can definitely save your costs even further by buying a 10-pack of drink tickets (which may be used whenever, not just at the event you bought them for)! Also, there is a location where you can keep your items in a coin-operated locker; nevertheless, it is advisable to arrive early because a popular event may significantly restrict the availability of those lockers.

Although it can occasionally feel crowded in the basement where the party is packed, most guests are quite considerate and want you to enjoy yourself to your own level. As the face of MOGRA, the regular DJs there are quite inviting. The owner is the chillest guy you'll ever meet, most importantly!

Honestly, it's a mildly fascinating explanation, but I can offer you a few suggestions. It is ultimately up to you to research the events independently and go to the ones that most interest you, but maybe this will serve as a good starting point.

・? ? (アニソンインデックス) features anime music at its finest - no remixes, only anthems that can make a crowd wild just hearing it mixed into a DJ set! It's by-far my favourite and honestly an inspiration to my DJ hobby. Their notable regular DJ's are legendary in their own way and I have much respect to them - I hope you will enjoy them too!
・? ? ! (あにめないと！) is very similar to anison index.most of the time! There is one catch - it's a punishment game where the DJ must only play songs from anime AND the crowd has to react positively to it. Should the DJ fail a total of five times, they are required to purchase a round of tequila shots for everyone (yes, EVERYONE.) If you're into this drinking game, this one's for you then! Even so, it will be a fun night of drinking and laughing with a variety of excellent music!

A pretty chill spot to check out some anime music and hang out. Not much of a dance floor and pretty empty though

I think they remodeled recently. It's super fun in both upstairs and downstairs areas!

This THE place for intense anime music! You don't need to know how to dance because everyone just sways and hops to the music! Perfect for New Years! Also, plenty of soft drinks!

全力でイベントに取り組んでくれるし
スタッフさんも雰囲気が良かったです。

It really depends on what the musical focus of the night is. However the atmosphere is always great, it's easy to strike up conversation and drinks are not too expensive. Most are 600円 and only more expensive if you get a red bull cocktail, champagne, or one of the Jaeger cocktails
