忍者場NinjaBar Asakusa

外国人にとってのザ・ニッポンが詰まったアミューズメントな街、浅草。銀座線の浅草駅は2017年にリニューアル。ムードが、がらりと変わったのです。薄暗かったホームも浅草らしい配色とデザインになりました。しかし、駅直結の地下街はディープなまま。逆にインバウンドにウケています。そんなクールな地下街ですが。。。謎の男の正体は、そう、忍者姿のバーテンダー。人気のお酒が忍者Kamikazeでござる。カクテルは巨大な盃に、注ぐのでござる。更に人気はコスプレ衣装の無料貸し出しサービス。なんちゃって侍に変身すれば。。。初めてのチャンバラにも夢中です。そして、もう1つの人気コスプレが。。。どすこい。どすこい。これで盃をあおれば、いい思い出になります。

Visited there on Saturday afternoon while we were exploring Asakusa.
The look of this bar is so pretty that we decided to sit and drink a bit.
On the display, I saw lots of good sake that I wanted to order but they didn’t have them in stock so I ended up drinking other kinds which was a bit disappointing.
I enjoyed spending time there while the sale was a bit pricy though.

Free popcorn comes with the drink, can smoke and have retro game machine that you can actually play.

The facade of this tiny bar in the maze of corridors of the Asakusa Metro (Subway) Station made up of an array of one cup servings of various sakes (nihonshu) is the inspiration for my unrealized dream of creating a sake one cup Advent calendar.

A very small place located in the Tokyo Metro. Great place for both foreigners and natives.

Went 3 times in our trip and met people of many nationalities who were all friendly and lots of great Japanese people who loved to talk.

Ninja bar staff are brilliant, kind and dress as a Ninja. Fab place to drink till it closes and then go on to the clubs.

If you’re a foreigner and nearby then you must visit!

Kenji is here Tuesdays and Fridays and speaks English, Spanish, and Japanese. A great host and eclectic bar in the Akasuka underground. Don't miss it!

Super fun evening. Great bar with amazing owner. We had so much fun and met interesting people. Prices for drinks are nice too.

My husband and I were actually on our way back to our hotel when we passed by this bar in the underground tunnel that lead to the subway. We decided to sit down at this place and was immediately welcomed by the friendly bartender (who spoke fluent English, by the way!). We purchased a shot for everyone (highly recommend doing this) in the bar and had a great time talking with the locals and other tourists. Great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone visiting!

Visited on a quiet day and were greeted with great hospitality by the friendly bartender and host. He speaks fluent English and made great recommendations to us for things to try in the area and for our ongoing trip. For those visiting bear in mind it's in the basement and you need to look out for a small sign on the door.
Strongly recommend a visit to this quirky place.

Absolutely worth a visit if you’re staying in the Asakusa area. Don’t be fooled by the simple layout. Went here on a Tuesday evening and it was one of the most fun random nights ever, even became friends with a few locals.

We went there on a Friday afternoon with the intentions of having one or two drinks before moving on to other bars. We stayed there for the entire night as the atmosphere was great. The bar tender was a great guy who made us feel welcomed immediately. We struck up conversations with a couple locals (regulars) who were hilarious and egged us on to try some or their favorite drinks. Was a really great experience and do recommend checking this bar out!

NINJA、お祭り、寿祝杯、ワンカップ、アニメ・・・日本の伝統はとにかくめでたい。おもてなし心を極めた忍者が温かく迎えてくれる。終始ネタづくしで話のタネに！酒呑み諸君なら、国内外問わず全ての人たちへオススメできるクールスポットだ。

I was backing from a bar to my hostel via the subway and saw wall of liquor with a neon open sign next to it. I didn't know when the bars close around here and when the subways stopped running. But I knew it was sign and as faith would have it, I spent a good amount of time drunkeningly learning all the bad words in Japanese and exchanging all the bad words in english with THE FRIENDLIEST FREAKING NINJA you'll ever meet. Seriously, this guy is awesome. I missed my train because I stayed past midnight not knowing that's when all services stopped and had to stumbled back to my hostel completely shitfaced. 10/10. Well worth the experience.

Retro, Gothic Ninja cool bar in Japan's oldest underground mall. Great atmosphere, history and the friendliest bar man. If you're visiting Tokyo and want to go off the touristy track, this place is a gem.
Went for a quick drink, 3 hours later.stil here. Laid back vibes.

Most friendly Ninja in Tokyo. Great selection of drinks and a very cool atmosphere you won't get anywhere else in the world. Sorry, Capt Tony's of Key West, this is my new favorite bar.

Went for one quick drink and ended up staying for a few hours. Super friendly and definitely worth a visit.

Sake sake bomb bomb!

Amazing find! What a great bar, Kenji is such a great bartender and really nice guy to talk to! Located in the oldest Japan metro passage Ninja Bar has a character all of its own! Highly recommended!

浅草駅と直結した地下飲み屋街にあるNINNJABAR
さまざまなワンカップを飲むことが出来ます。
料理はほぼ缶詰。缶詰はそのまま出すのではなく
温めて出してくれます。個人的には缶詰の中身って意外と入ってるんだなぁと発見がありました。
ワンカップは数十種類はありました。日本酒好きには良いと思います。
が、ワンカップは全て (おそらく) 常温・・・
夏場に行ったので更にぬるく感じました。
そこだけが残念。お店のスペース、酒の種類から言っても
全て収納できる冷蔵庫を用意することは難しいのかも知れませんがそれだけが残念でした。
全てとは言いませんが大半の日本酒の適温は常温未満だと思います。
NINNJAは一人だけとのこと。超がつく良い人でした。

If you’re looking for a fun place to end the night, this is the place to be! Also, the drinks are really cheap!

A tiny bit difficult to find, it's down a flight of stairs that looks a touch sketchy, but I've never felt more comfortable or at home anywhere in Tokyo!

PS try the costumes just past the bar in the back!
