43 We visited Nobu Tokyo, making this our 5th Nobu first starting in Melbourne.
The exceptional service to the lovely sashimi and quality cocktails. The sashimi tacos are a favourite as is the Black Miso Cod with ginger shoot.
My first time eating at Nobu and I was impressed. The sushi tacos were pretty delicious and while the prices are pretty high, as expected from a restaurant of this caliber, the food was good. I was a little let down by the sushi however. I tried the saba and I have had better at much cheaper establishments.
Nobu serves perfectly fine food, but why someone would want to visit an large international chain restaurant while in Tokyo is beyond me. If you have the time and money to dine here, find a local izakaya or a smaller sushi joint instead - Tokyo has some of the best food in the world.
