Tiny little shop with great tasting pizza. The owner didn't speak english but was very friendly. I would return here again
Really cozy place. The pizza was on point, every detail was taken care of. The owners (I presume) don't speak English but that is not a problem, they cook amazing food and they are lovely.
Definitely an excellent spot in Tokyo it feels like an "izakaya" turned into a pizzeria.
I don’t usually write reviews but this place was such a good find I had to write about it. Though the menu is in Japanese there are signs with English overhead and google translate works on the menu. The salad was the most delicious I have ever had with its strong savory flavors. I had the garlic pizza which was good but the folks next to me got the margherita and it looked even better. Reasonably priced and great service. Not much seating so maybe not for big groups. If you have a pizza craving like I did, you will be satisfied here!
Not really foreigner friendly and suspect a bit xenophobic.
They have a small card to explain that they don’t speak english or have english menu although the female waitress did her best to help and we managed and she was at least very friendly. I don’t expect people to speak english in Japan.
They have a minimum charge of 300 yen for seating which included a small appetizer. Ok this is pretty normal in Japan and they gave me a small stewed pumpkin. What I observed was the Japanese guests were being given some sliced fish and salad as the complimentary appetizer and I was given something different for no apparent reason, guests who sat down after me were given the better appetizer so its not a case they ran out.
The pizza was OK, but nothing special for Tokyo. Not sure why so many positive reviews. Maybe for Japanese you get better service. I was hungry and it was ok. Wouldn’t come back.
The chef didn’t great when I arrived or left and thats not customary and considered rude in Japan so a clear sign he doesn’t want foreigners in his place so with that in mind, why give them the business.
