Affordable place to enjoy punk, metal, hardcore and hybrid genres within that. There is a cheap liquor store next door and given the judicious time between acts, it is easy to have a cheap evening. That said, the bar is quite affordable. However, the bar needs to be more aggressive in dealing with gaijin slam dancers.

I've been going to pit bar for quite a while now and it's a great venue. The community there can be kind of cold at first but if you go a few times then it starts to open up more. The beer is decently priced here for Tokyo although the serving size is a bit small which kind of reflects the venue size. It is a small place and I highly recommend bringing ear plugs depending on the event that the bar is hosting.
