Yes it cheap but so is the quality of the food, buffet mostly cold, pure Chaos inside, very tiny, staff is friendly but never come to your table unless you call for them. I was seated only by customers leaving, It appears to be more of a late night bar for Filipinos… I do recommend the halo halo if you never had, huge portion - Filipinos answer to Kakigorie or Korean Bing

Great atmosphere, we could either eat buffet style or order a set for lunch, we ordered the sets and they were very good. It's a small space so be prepared to wait if you come at prime time lunch time. We order the Halo Halo drink which is awesome but do keep in mind the medium one is huge (could be for 2 people or almost a full meal for 1 person). Defs recommend it for a true Philipino food experience

I went there on December 20th with eight students. We had originally planned on going to the Philippine for service work but couldnt due to COVID. This alternative plan was a hit. The price was cheap and the food delicious. Especially the chicken. Thank you so much Pogi staff!

Even cheap all the food is delicious.and most of all you will feel that you will return to their place because of how they treat the customer they are kind!

Came here at around 3: 00pm. Chanced upon this restaurant when I was out for a walk at Ueno and was suddenly craving for Filipino food. The place is quite small but it’s totally fine. Ambiance is nice, and the vibe is good. It can be noisy at times since they offer karaoke but if you don’t mind that at all, it shouldn’t be a problem. The staff and owner is very accommodating. They were so welcoming that the staff met me at the elevator when I arrived. And as I was leaving, both the owner and staff bid me goodbye at the elevator.

The food was really good! There were a lot of choices on the menu and the desserts served that day was sooo delicious! For about 1,100 yen, I’d say it’s a very good deal. Will definitely come back!

Pogi Phil Resto Bar was good place to visit especially for those people who want to experience filipino cuisine. At morning, it was simple restaurant and At night, it has live band in a pub. It was located near in Ueno Park. Make sure to wear proper facemask in order for your safety.

For only ¥550, you cannot beat this deal. It's an all-you-can Filipino food restaurant. The cooks are friendly and will give you extra spices that go well with their home cooking. I was particular in love with the spicy mango salad and the tripe and eggplant dish. I want to revisit this as soon as possible.

They also offer a ¥1500 all-you-can-drink karaoke at night too! I can't believe it's all so affordable!

For 500Yen, you can taste buffet-style comfort, homely food with decent and acceptable quality. Sinigang during lunch time was especially good, and halo halo was also worth an extra Y500. The community is mainly Filipinos as well, while the restaurant itself depicts a karenderia style aesthetic familiar to many Filipino restaurants.
