10 We did the 6D5N Japan Central Alps tour and this must be the best motorcycling trip ever! Looking back at the whole experience, it was just good honest small business with folks that are passionate about what they do and it showed - and this is why we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them every time.
From the initial conversations (they made sure of getting your requirements right and always patient with your many questions), to the very well maintained bikes, wonderfully mapped out routes on GPS (fast sweeping turns to tight hairpins on slopes, the breathtaking scenery), and returning each day to a different but calm and welcoming Ryokan with their amazing spread of carefully prepared meals - it was fine dining everyday! Rodger also made sure to keep in contact each day to check if we are doing okay - just so different from other bike rentals and you left knowing you made a friend and have been very well taken care of too!
I wish I could keep this a secret but they are just too good not to be shared with fellow bikers who value having very memorable experiences that last a lifetime!
Absolutely wonderful experience, one of the best things that I’ve ever done for myself and something that I would tell my future grandchildren about over and over! I did the 11-day Japan Central Alps Solo Tour on the Moto Guzzi Sport 1200 4V from June 18 to June 28,2019. It was an Experience of a lifetime with the capital E! It was my first time riding in Japan and all worked out well. It was worth every penny to be able to intimately see the country on beautiful motorcycle routes and soak into the best of Japanese culture at the select ryokans!
My biggest worry at the start of the trip was getting out from the middle of Tokyo where the shop is located but Rodger was very kind to escort me out to the edge of the city onto the expressway entrance. Rodger was always available on WhatsApp for any support that I needed along the way. I would report to him anyway each day to let him know about my rides and I feel like we have become lifelong friends that share passion for motorcycle adventures.
I opted for the superior accommodation package and I felt like a king at all the ryokans. All 10 ryokans had different characteristics but the quality of food and excellent hospitality was awesome everywhere, even in the remote country.
I expected a lot of rain as June is the rainy season in Japan but it wasn’t bad at all. I only encountered some rain up on the mountains near Hachimantai.
I would definitely do the trip again and highly recommend Ninja Tours to everyone. They know the best roads, they maintain good relationship with select ryokans so that the riders are treated like VIPs, and having English support is invaluable in Japan.

We rented a bike for a week-long tour of the Japanese Alps. Their experience riding in the area shows. The route they loaded on the GPS was amazing, incredible roads every day. We stayed at a variety of places, including a monestary, ryokens, and western (ish) hotels, and they were all terrific. The personal service provided is top-notch and it felt more like talking with a new friend than dealing with a business. This was the trip of a lifetime (though we hope to return in a few years), and Rushcorp is definitely the company you want to work with when touring in Japan.
Rodger and staff provided excellent service and advice for touring in Japan. We hired four bikes in 2013 and had a great time touring.
It was a pleasure to hire from a genuine motorcycle enthusiast.
Excellent service with knowledgeable folks. Explore Japan and see the sights that normal tourists don't. For all levels of experience. Highly recommend.
A pleasure to deal with! Rodger took great care of us and was very helpful in organizing or trip. Highly recommend Rushcorp for motorcycle rentals in Japan!
My gift to my brother for his 50th was a MotoGP and 1 week tour. I recommended Japan since it's a big, once in a lifetime trip, and he said yes. After a little research came across Ninja Tours / Rushcorp Motorcycle Rentals. All I can say is: WOW! Everything from excellent choice in well maintained motorcycles, perfectly planned routes and hotels, and excellent service. If you wished you could do a ride through Japan, Ninja Tours / Rushcorp Motorcycle Rentals is THE place to do it with. Tours by avid motorcyclists who have taken the time to discover the best rides you didn't know existed (man, they must have spent A LOT of time and gotten lost A LOT of times to find these roads). Little highway riding, A LOT of country riding with a nice mix of fast sweepers. (Tip: we rode 9-15 October, trees changing colours, empty roads, heat, rain, mist.choose the smaller displacement bikes, some of those mountain roads don't have hairpin turns but more like u-turns!) Exhausting and rewarding rides; I haven't been in bed, asleep at 8: 00 PM since I was a child. And the hotels! All you need is change of base layers for your motorcycle suit, the hotels provide the rest. Seriously. Just bring change of base layers, even toothbrushes are provided. Excellent food, service, and onsens (public baths.don't be shy, the Japanese aren't!). It isn't cheap, but it was worth every single hard earned Yen. My heartfelt thanks for making this an excellent trip. (Highlight: monkey giving me a "look" while crossing a road deep in one of the innumerable national parks.)
Rodger of Rushcorp Motorcycle Rentals couldn't be more helpful in the short hire of a bike and pretty much all the kit required to go with it. He even opened up the shop just for us outside of office hours. They (at Rushcorp) are clearly passionate about biking, have great well kept bikes and gear, and will give you the benefit of their knowledge on some awesome biking in Japan. No doubt their organised tours via Ninja Tours would be equally well run.
