37The best pizza of my life. I was doubtful first, but I was truly surprised. We got the cheese option, but there is also an off the menu pizza called White. (Only cheese)
I’m a pescatarian and they prepared the no-meat soup-stock in the hot pot. And the vegetables dishes are really nice and decent.
Stopped by hoping to try some interesting Japanese-inspired pizza, after seeing the feature on ugly food. Unfortunately they now only do two pizzas, both very standard classic styles. I'm sure they're great, but be aware this is going to be a classic Neapolitan experience.
Amazing sides, with wood fired pizzas made right in front of you. Limited menu, limited seating, cozy, friendly staff. These guys are serious about their pizzas.
Went for a lunch set. Waited less than 15 minutes. We tried both Marinara and Margarita and both were amazing. The set came with a small salad and iced tea. We added a beer or two. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Don’t miss!
Best pizza in Japan and best pizza in the world. They do take out and the line to get in can be long. But it's worth it and you won't regret it.
Small place close to the Tokyo national stadium.
Literally the one of the top 5 pizzas I've ever had. Dinner menu is affordable for the quality they offer.
I'd advice anyone who's looking for a decent pizza in Japan to visit this place.
Tokyo Foodies FB group brought me here. This is probably one of the most delicious and expertly crafted pizzas you can get in the world. Redefines the meaning of 'authentic pizza' being only Italian or American. Japanese chef, Japanese ingredients, Japanese oven.truly a hidden gem.
Great pizza joint! On par with any pizza place in the world. Only two options - margherita and marinara (garlic). Both are delicious and worth waiting for. The wood fired oven hovers around 470c and the pizzas cook quickly resulting in a nice charred crust with great chew. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh and you can taste every ingredient in every bit. Haven't been to the other outposts yet but this one is definitely special. A must visit in Tokyo!
Two types of pizza. Both are good but the margarita Is better. Nice service. Faith prices. Small space.
Be sure to book or arrive half an hour before opening time. Sensational flavour, close your eyes and you’re in Napoli.
This is hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Ever since I've been to Savoy for the first time, I've dreamed about their pizza. The Margherita alone is enough to make me travel back to Japan from halfway around the world. If you like pizza, even a little bit, this place is a must visit while in Japan. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time otherwise there is likely a 30-60 wait depending on the day/time.
Very casual, charismatic space with delicious pizza made in an oven before your eyes - ingredients imported from Italy and the staff are super friendly. Great spot, I go once or twice per month, for lunch or dinner.
This must be one of the most amazing places to enjoy a slice of Italy with the perfection that only a Japanese craftsman can muster. Do try to make a booking since we had to wait for a half an hour. The doorman is not all that exciting but the guys behind the pizza counter are wonderful. They keep the oven at a steady 450 degrees and make a pizza at a time like a true ninja.
Their pizza is always good but today, i had lunch here with a friend (it took less than 30 minutes) when we were chatting with a piece of pizza left, we were told to leave in very rude attitude. Server said many people are waiting outside. Can’t i spend 30 minutes for my lunch there? What kind of restaurant it is?
I loved Margherita more than marinara (which is without any cheese but with garlic, not what they call marinara in Italy). The dough is perfect, the sause seemed to be just industrial passata without any seasoning. Very good but not better than in Napoli like some people claim:)
This was the best pizza I've ever eaten. Thanks Reddit. I ate two pizzas by myself and now I need to go back to Japan and try more pizza places. I am a believer in Japanese pizza. This place opens at 6pm, but you should get there at 5: 30 if you want to guarantee yourself a seat. I didn't bother with anything but the pizza, but tables around me did and they looked very happy. Will definitely go back here the next time I'm in Tokyo. I still can't believe it.
