26Comfortable sleeping quarters, friendly, helpful and passionate staff, great environment. Will never stay anywhere else in Tokyo. Special shoutout to Jay at Unplan for making our Tokyo experience so memorable.
Helpful and sweet staff, cool activities planned where you can meet new people, super clean and the shared dorm room had a lot of space! Would recommend!
An Amazing time in this establishment, nothing to say, a wonderful staff, real calm and cosy, really nice people I strongly recommend it!
Good choice in Kagurazaka! Clean beds and shower rooms, with quiet environment. Staffs were kind and helpful. Had a small cafe providing average plus coffee.offered breakfast, just with boiled eggs and toasts. Not very bright light at bed. But not a big problem.
First as a cafe:
The food I had here was great, I also make sure to buy coffee every day. They serve a French press with newly ground beans. This place has the best coffee I've had during my entire trip to Japan. They change the beans they use every once in a while, I really liked the Brazilian beans, but they switched to Honduras which had an earthier taste too it which I didn't enjoy as much. The Brazilian bean were less bitter, which I enjoy. My favorite beans are a Kona blend, which is pretty light and sweet and the beans blended with it have a caramel flavor to them.
Now the hostel:
The dorms are very clean along with the showers and toilets. I'd never stayed in a hostel before and was worried with what I'd experience. I was very happy with my experience staying here. To be honest, this place was cleaner than some more expensive hotels that I stayed at later on. People who had stayed in hostels in other countries told me how much better they were here in Japan, and I don't doubt them for a minute after this trip.
The only annoyance was that there weren't enough outlets in the bunk to charge everything that I brought. They have a cell phone sitting in the bunk you can borrow during your stay, and it's occupying the only outlet in the bunk. I broke the rules and unplugged the phone to charge my own (sorry).
