World Unite! Japan 件の口コミ
12 "World Unite! " offers great services and an amazing team. Everyone is very helpful, competent and friendly.
If you are going to Japan for a Working Holiday, you should definitely consider booking their program.
Thank you!:)
Really wouldn't recommend, the house was always super unclean and dirty and shower/toilet was broken often. The WU Team was really mixed, some were really nice and helpful and some super unfriendly and rude and the service was bad for most part. Things were always stolen in the house and you couldn't cancel renting at any time. The rooms were really small and dirty as well and the walls are so thin it is noisy at any time. The worst part is that there is only one cheap washing machine for the entire house and the World Unite team controlls the rooms at any time and throws away your belongings.
The only good thing was the location.
I applied to World Unite’s Japan Working Holiday program and was very pleased with the services they provided. They were organised, polite, and accommodating to my needs even during these difficult times. Unfortunately, I was unable to proceed with the program due to Japan’s reinforcement of COVID-19 restrictions. As promised though, World Unite were good enough to refund the fees I paid in full. I would recommend World Unite to anyone who wants to make their transition into living and working/volunteering in another country a lot easier.
No problems so far. Easy communication, all worked out, price is ok, people are nice. I had no problems getting to Japan even during the pandemic. Still in contact because my mail gets forwarded from germany to their adress. Works out perfectly fine until now
Cosy location in Koto-ku which feels more local than downtown Shibuya/Shinjuku. The staff supported me over the duration of my working holiday in registration at the local council office and bank, finding jobs, translation, accommodation, going to Japanese language school, luggage storage and navigating Covid-19 as it unfolded in Japan.
From the very beginning, World Unite has been really helpful and kind. We had 2 really big emergencies when we just arrived to Japan and the staff did their best to help us out. In the end all the emergencies were solved with their fast help. They also answer to whatever question you may have and they do it very fast. Sometimes they even answer in non-working hours. In summary, I really recommend this organization.
From pre-departure to navigating daily life in Japan, World Unite has and continues to be kind, helpful and professional in the service that they offer. Always thankful for their ongoing support.
They are always ready to help you where ever in Japan you are. They are very friendly and patient as to understand what's your problem. I have multiple times has to have their help, as my reading abilities in Japanese are not the greatest, and every time, they have been of great help!
If you are looking for a job or a place to stay in Japan, that's also something they can help with.
If you are considering going to Japan, I can only recommend them!
They all speak English, so if you are like me and doesn't speak German, that's not a problem.
The house is also alright, and a very cheap option, not to mention it's a great place to start you adventure as you'll be surrounded by other people you is also starting theirs.
Sometimes the cleaning in the house was not the best, but that was not World Unites fault. They do everything they can to keep the place clean, but sometimes there are people in the sharehouse, who doesn't know how to clean up after themselves. There are cleaning staff coming 2-3 times a week (can't remember exactly) so it's not too big of a problem, and generally it's clean.
The location of the house is also very great, as it's close to the metro and a large shopping mall.
Many people forget to mention this place's amazing location!
Relatively close to Odaiba and within 20mins of Kiba Station on the Tozai Line, you can get to almost all the important areas in Tokyo quickly and easily.
The cheapest option is a bed in a dorm room, which doesn't allow for much privacy, but in a city like Tokyo you will most likely not find anything in that price range until you're very far off the centre - “Priorities, “ I'd say.: D
The house in itself is okay, nothing special here. Though the rooftop is definitely a huge plus! The office is right there, so you can just pop in during their office hours and ask away if you have any questions. Everybody speaks at least two of these three languages: English, Japanese and Germans. All members of the staff are really nice and they'll try to help you as best as they can.
Big shoutout to the much under-appreciated Mayumi! Without her, everything would go up in flames, lol.
Even for a Working Holiday, do not go there. I stayed here and had the worst time, no help getting a job and everything is extremely disorganised. If you want a full review and photos, just message me on Twitter @sincerelynyny
IT IS THE WORST!
Honestly, I would never go there again and I cannot recommend it to anyone. The members from World Unite do not care about your and if you leave your personal belongings for 2 seconds in a shared space, they steel it right away and you have to pay it from your deposit.
Especially Mariko is the worst. She is rude, hypocritical and selfish. Everybody is wondering why she even has this job, since she hates everyone in the sharehouse and really tries to find a reason why you have to pay as much as possible from your deposit.
I only gave this one star, since zero is not an option here. But honestly, I had the worst experience with World Unite.
The World Unite people are very unpleasant. You have to pay a deposit of 35000 Yen of which the organisation never talked before. They make deductions from the deposit for every fart you make or even for things of which you are not guilty (stains on the bed linen, stolen towels.). Furthermore you have no privacy because they come into your room without knocking or even open the locked door at night while you are asleep. Besides that in some magical way things disappear from the private spaces and are never seen again. Mariko is the worst of them. She is always upset, grumpy and unfriendly and I think her only job is to search for something to deduct money from your deposit.
