Pay attention! They offer set menu for tourist which is making at kitchen, taste just so so. Sushi for local are different and looks much nicer.

Very good. I tried Hida beef steak with rice. It’s very delicious. My GF tried Hokkaido bowl which is salmon and white shrimp with rice. It also tasty. With the price some might said it’s too expensive but if you had a chance, please give it a try. It’s worth every ¥.

一人で高山に遊びに行ったときに、夜に食事をしようと回って見つけたお店。
初めて入った、回らない寿司屋でネタはとても新鮮で美味しかった。
一人で入ったので少し緊張はしたが、色々と話を振ってくれて有意義な時間を過ごすことが出来たと思う。

Awesome! The ingredient is very very good quality and the head chef is very kind and friendly. With the chef selection menu, he try to explain the ingredient one by one with his body language (LOL). They also have staff that can speak English fluently. You can tell chef for the allegy and they will compensate with something else.

It was pretty good! The quality of the sashimi was outstanding! We opted for the sashimi order and asked for 8000 yen worth of sashimi. I was still hungry a little after, you don’t get quantity that’s for sure but you’ll get quality. I don’t know if I would come back just because I thought it was really pricey for what you get but it was good! We did notice that locals got preferential treatment.still worth a try though for quality sushi

Great family place, lots of seating, they accommodated our choice of ala carte sushi even though not on the menu. Prob not the fanciest or most exclusive sushi place in Takayama, but a good place to go without fear of needing reservations and some good sushi at a good value.

Excellent sushi. Wonderful dessert.matter of fact, you'd be hard pressed to find anything that isn't top notch. Highly recommended. Staff spoke perfect English too.

I don't recommend this place if you are tourist. In this case they bring the food from the kitchen that looks different (another set of products). The food tasted ordinary. Rice was not fresh. Good money for bad experience.

Very good my family really like the resturant. Fish is really fresh. All dishes are goods. I personally reccommend the set.

I had the beef and sushi set. Beef was amazing. Sushi was amazing. A nice place to splash out and get some great sushi.

Good dining experience sitting at the sushi counter. Busy place when we went at about 6+ pm. Place was bustling with customers. Sushi and sashimi was great though the grilled Hida beef hotplate was a bit too oily.

Food was great but non Japanese speakers are forced to order sets which are a little long pricey. They have an English menu but the menu doesn’t have individual items. I got 8 pieces of sushi and 100 grams of hida beef for 2500 yen.
