城山館

この旅館がどれほど素晴らしい場所なのか、言葉では言い表せません。建物自体は美しく歴史的で、白川郷のすべての観光スポットを見るのに最適な場所にあり、寒い外を歩いた後の2つの貸切温泉は素晴らしかったです。朝食も夕食も、地元で採れた食材や狩猟した食材がふんだんに使われていて、本当に美味しかったです。それに加えて、旅館のオーナー家族は皆とても温かくて親切でした。この旅館を強くお勧めします。また戻ってくるのが待ちきれません。

山閣はバス停の真向かいにあり、とても便利な場所にあります。流行中、1階が改装され、より美しくなりました。また、利用できる浴場も2つ増えました。景色を楽しみながらとても快適です。入浴中。新メニューの内容はどれも社長自ら見つけた新鮮な食材を使用しており、とても興味深くヘルシーです

宿のインテリアデザイン、食事、隅々まで拘ってるのが感じられました。

夜の料理も品数たくさんでお腹いっぱい。
お酒もご飯に合わせたコースを選ぶのをおすすめ。
朝ごはんの白米も最高！

またいつか冬の白川郷を見に来たいと思います。

山館は私が今まで宿泊した中で最高のホテルです。素晴らしいサービス、信じられないほど美味しい食事、最も居心地の良い部屋、そして最も親切なスタッフ。
部屋も家自体もとても素敵で、清潔で、とても美しかったです。
白川郷の真ん中に位置し、日本の貸切風呂へのアクセスは本当に最高のホテル体験でした。ここに滞在すること自体が本当に素晴らしい経験でした。経営している家族はとても素敵で親切です。
あらゆる面でとてもオススメです！

家族3人で宿泊させていただきました。
近いので…近すぎて…これまでずっと行く機会を逃していた白川郷。
いまだからこその近くの良さを城山館さんで感じさせていただきました。

ちょっと疲れている時はやっぱり和食が頭に浮かぶのですが、お出汁も無添加、とにかく1つ1つが繊細で細かな料理のことは分からないわたしたちも「大切におもてなしをしてくださっているんだな。」と感じられ、お食事に癒されます。

丁寧なお料理に小学校3年生の息子も大喜び！

朝食まで手抜きなしで、朝から贅沢な気持ちにさせていただきました。

また、ご家族で営まれている温かさを感じられる接客も素晴らしいです！

帰りの際に主人に玄関で記念のお写真を撮っていただいたのですが、ハイチーズのバリエーションが多彩で多才！！笑顔が咲く写真がたくさんになりました！

大変なことが多いですが、この素敵なお宿が永く続いていきますように…

最高のおもてなし．居心地の良さ．室内のいきとどいたお掃除、事情あって遅い時間の到着となったが，数々の要求をしてしまったにもかかわらずすべて受容して下さった．感謝の気持ちしかない．また、お食事が美味しい！お米が美味しい！関東の有名高級旅館より細やかな心遣い、接客にも「愛」を感じた．このコロナ禍，交流を絶たれ，なにか満たされない心が一気に満たされエネルギ―の充電ができた一泊だった．春・夏・冬と城山館に宿泊したいと思った．お世話になりました．

先日ぶなのお部屋にてお世話になりました。
チェックイン前日に電話で食べられないものを聞いていただけたおかげでお食事を楽しめました 。
御家族で経営なさってるとの事で、皆様接しやすく何気ない雑談が物凄く楽しかったです 。
とても和や自然を感じられて良い思い出になりました。
また白川郷に来た際はこちらにお世話になろうと思います 。

お世辞でなく、今まで泊まったどんな旅館よりも素敵でした！
おもてなし、お料理、居心地すべて最高でした。
子供を連れて家族三人で伺ったのですが、夫婦でゆっくりと食事ができるようにと子供を旅館のご夫婦のお子さんと遊ばせて下さったり、とても暖かいおもてなしでした。
また夏にぜひ伺いたいです。
コロナで大変だと思いますが、また会える日を楽しみにしています。

Me and my friends went on a trip to Japan, and this was one of our stops along the way. The family was super nice, the food was amazing, and the free tour of the town - albeit only in Japanese - was a treat. They tried their hardest to accommodate us despite our poor Japanese. Just be aware that like most places in Japan, they only heat individual rooms as they're used. So if it's really cold out and you venture to the bathroom, it will be chilly outside your room.

We left them a souvenir of a little bottle of maple syrup from Canada, and I hope they enjoyed it.

従業員のみなさまの人柄がとってもあったかくて最高でした。おばあちゃん家に帰ってきたみたいにリラックスできました。
宿のオーナーがつれてってくれるツアーがおもしろくてタメになる話を聞かせてくれるし、写真も撮ってくれる (おやじギャグが多いですが、、)

それなのにオーナーが作るご飯がおいしすぎる

幸せな時間が過ごせました！

今年は特別雪が降らなかったらしいので、また雪が積もったときに来てみたいな。話を聞いてて夏も春も秋も来てみたくなりました！また白川郷来る時はお世話になりたいです〜

We totally loved the experience of staying in this ryokan hotel
First highlight is the service. It is run by the owner's family (father, mother and siblings) and they all do their best to make you feel the most welcomed and pampered
The accomodation meet expectations. We stayed in the room with private bathroom and enjoyed it all
The room's price included the kaiseki dinner and we have to say it was a top score in terms of quality, ingredients, presentation and service
The hotel is conveniently located across the road from the bus stop so very easy

Perfect stay in the best ryokan! The property was beautiful and the food was some of the best we’ve had while living in japan. But most of all was the warm and loving family that runs the place. They did absolutely everything to make our stay the best ever. The onsen is just a minute away and beautiful. They speak English well, engage with the kids, are truly interested in learning about guests and take care of all of us. They took guests for an tour of shirakawago village and drove us to observation. They even cleaned off the snow from our car when we were checking out.

We look forward to being back.

Amazing Ryokan. Absolutely loving and genuine family business, that gives their 200% to make your stay memorable!

Our group absolutely loved our stay at the Shiroyamakan. In fact, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The family that owns and runs the ryokan are some of the most thoughtful and welcoming folks. The rooms were beautiful and kept very warm despite the winter weather. The dinner and breakfast meals were outstanding and introduced us to all sorts of delicious Japanese cuisine. We lucked out and had a fresh snow fall overnight making Shirakawa-go a winter wonderland. We would love to stay here again and enjoy the unparalleled hospitality.

We are Pablo and Sonia. We stayed at your Ryokan for our honeymoon in May this year. It was a wonderful stay and we were very pleased to meet you. All the staff were hanging at all times that we were well and at ease, like at home. We really liked the menus they prepared for us and had breakfast listening to Ghibli's songs. You were very kind. Wonderful wonderful hosts who look after their guests so well! They lent us boots when it was snowing heavily, they gave us a brilliant tour around the village and took photos of us, the food was delicious, the rooms warm and cosy. The location of this Ryokan is fantastic with stunning views. An experience I like to enjoy in each different season! My favourite Ryokan in Japan so far and we've been to a few!

Prices are like Ritz carlton. But worth it with Takuyasan and family being the host with the most. Takuyasan the chef, snow ball fight arranger and photographer. 1 2 gotcha.

Stayed here during Christmas and could not fault the impeccable hospitality provided by this adorable Matsufuru family. It is a well-maintained heritage building and the family go above and beyond to ensure guests have the best possible experience. Here you can feel the spirit and warmth of the UNESCO Shirakawa-go village.
