城山館

建物は経年劣化が否めませんが、清潔が保たれているので不快さは全く感じませんでした。「ご不便をおかけします」と、ご主人や娘さん方はおっしゃってましたが、「不便さ」を補って余りある「料理」と「ホスピタリティー」があります。
ご主人の「ツアー」に参加してから、次の日に白川郷を散策するのがオススメです。

Warm hospitality. Nice service. Delicious food. The A5 Hidashi beef was so tasty. The Host will guide you to the famous spot of Shirakawa Village. The hotel is near the bus station (across the road) and near the hill to see the whole view of the village. You can join the local tour ofthe hotel to the lookout on the hill, or you can take a walk by the short trail (also near the hotel) in 15 to 20 minutes.

You can enjoy the japanese traditional house which was built in Meiji era. Even though the room doesn't have private bath and toilet. You probably satisfy this old ryokan.

Wonderful experience not only on a culinary level but also on a human level!
The family who runs this Ryokan is adorable and the food is delicious. The room was quiet and beautiful and the private tour was a fantastic experience (without all the tourist that invade the place during the day) Thank you very much!

Shoryudo trip half year ago, the most memorable I live in Shirakawago's Shiroyama-kan these two days, sunny weather, in this 130-year-old hotel, but also retained well, and now the manager is already the fourth Generation, elegant clean warm room, good country rustic ingredients, very delicious banquet dishes, the manager of two daughters are very carefully described in detail. The manager is very warm hospitality, but also in the afternoon 4: 00pm free guided tours, pick us around Shirakawa again.

Best experience of stay in Gifu area, this ryokan is older than 100 years, run by 3rd generation family, even it is a family business, but service is second to none, staff is super friendly and try their best to take care us along the time we stayed, they prepare snow boot for guest, also provide a tour surround Shirakawago village, dinner with A5 hida beef plus sushi, tempura, fish and lot of food. View from our room is super amazing. Worth for every yen spend here, most recommended!

Best Ryokan you can find at shiragawa. Great food and really nice hosts. Tje building itself was built in the Meiji era and maintained very well. The view from our 2nd floor room winodw was awesome. Highly recommended!

This hotel is running by a family more than 4 generation of people. All of those staff are very nice and helpful. They all treat you as the guest in their family. You will feel warm in there

Amazing heritage family run ryokan at Shirakawa-go. We love the beautiful river side room. The food was amazing! We basically scraped the bottom of every plate. Service was awesome. The whole family was very friendly, attentive and warm. Strongly recommend!
