CENTER4 HAMBURGERS

This place was tops, so tops that I went back two nights in a row! Their burgers are too die for, and their milkshakes are the best I have ever had, i couldnt recommend this place enough!

Tasty Hida burger and excellent craft beers. A tad expensive with the Hida beef but we enjoyed it (~2500 yen per burger. Lots of much cheaper options available though <1000 yen). Especially after an afternoon of sake!

100% best burger in all of Japan and maybe even Australia. The taste the service the decor the everything was absolutely perfect. Anyone travelling to takayama must go here.

My wife and I have been living in Japan for 2 years and these were by far the best burgers (and closest to American burgers) we’ve had! We highly recommend!

Hida burgers and fries were delicious. We also loved the music and everyone was extremely friendly. Highly recommended.

Cosy place in American style with Johnny Cash music. Very friendly and helpful staff speaking decent English. You can try Hida beef burger here which is very tasty, but better be early, because it is limited. Popular place with only a couple of places to sit, so better make a reservation in advance or you will be queuing and waiting for a free place. Only cash accepted.

Hida burguer is worth the price! Very tasty! You can feel the difference as it is made with 100% Hida beef.

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, tremendous food and a great choice of beers. After a few days of sashimi it makes a great retreat for a western traveller (frequented by locals too though!)

It was quite place with Retro style. I ended up without hida beef burger. Sometimes u have to lines up during lunch break. Nice food.

Probably one of the best hamburgers I've ever had but definitely on the pricey side (~$25 per person). However, it was definitely worth the experience. Be sure to book in advance as you likely won't get a spot otherwise and they only sell a limited amount of the Hida burgers daily. You can reserve through facebook messanger too!

Had the Hida beef burger. Other than the patty, the rest of the burger/food was mediocre. The inside of the store is a seemingly random menagerie of old western culture.

Slightly above average. Usual wait 20 min even when there were not many customers. Small cafe though. Seat only around less than 20?
