カトリック金沢教会

福者ユスト高山右近の聖遺物が安置されているということで、訪れました。ステンドグラスがきれいで、金沢の街の喧騒を忘れる時間を過ごせました。

香林坊から21世紀美術館の方へ少し歩いていくと右手の奥に
手を広げて迎えてくれるキリスト様が急に見える、ここがカトリック金沢教会†です (*^^*)

繁華街の中心部にあるのに、中に入るととても静かで厳かかつ神聖な雰囲気に包み込まれ、心が洗われた様な気分になれる場所です！

教会は基本的に誰でもウェルカムなので、神社やお寺さんにお参りに行く感覚で普段教会に馴染みがない方もふらっと寄ってみてはいかがでしょうか？？
タイミング良ければ結婚式も見れちゃいますよ

To be in the house of the Lord makes me feel always safe and at peace. I always missed the mass but I didn’t forget to pray and give thanks. When I visit it I thought there is a mass but they have their annual spring choral concerts and it’s nice to see how active is this church. They have English mass every fourth of Sunday (15: 00pm) and International mass (10: 00am) on the fifth Sunday.

Finally found a Church that provides English mass. (Every 4th sunday of the month). Also near from Kanazawa's tourist spot.

Attended the 6pm Sunday Mass in Japanese. Parishioners and the priest were welcoming. They gave us a Mass guide in English and Japanese to follow. Great hearty singing.

Beautiful church with coloured panels of people who preached the word first in Kanazawa. Great story behind how a Samurai sticked to his belief and not wavered despite fierce protest from the government and rulers of the land during his time.

Great church to worship. The priest speaks both Japanese and English. We have both English and Japanese Mass. Time is also flexible adjusting to your working hours.
