金澤ゲストハウス イーストマウンテン

山ひがし茶屋街から徒歩数分。古いスタイルの日本家屋ですが、短期滞在に必要なものはすべて揃っています。ホストはとても親切で、いつも親切でした。ただし、壁は非常に薄いので、家が満室の場合はよく眠ることができない可能性があります（私の場合はそうではありませんでした）。価格は通常低めです。

最寄りバス停「東山」から徒歩１分
趣のある古民家をフルリノベして居心地抜群です！オーナーがとてもフレンドリーです。バス、トイレが１か所しかないのでタイミングを外すとちょっと困るかもです。

Charming, well-located house. Also incredibly noisy, crowded and dirty. There is one bathroom with shower and sink and one toilet for the entire guesthouse, all seemingly never cleaned (talking about hair everywhere, dripping towels on the rack, etc.). We had a ‘private room’ that was wedged inbetween the living room, bathroom and kitchenette, which were all constantly (6pm, 1 am, 6 am, I mean constantly) occupied, which made for zero privacy and a (literally) two hour wait to be able to take a shower in the morning. Heating did not work so we slept and changed in basically outside november temperatures. We’re not at all used to luxury when travelling but even at this price we would have hoped for basic cleanliness and comfort. Definitely don’t go for the private room as it’s no more private or comfortable then a much cheaper shared room but ideally AVOID this place altogether.

We had a great time in this guesthouse. The hosts were very welcoming, clean rooms and shared areas. What more could you want? !

Highly recommend this Guesthouse for couples or people travelling in pairs. We had the Japanese style tatami room and it was very good. Spacious and nice, with comfortable futons. Guesthouse has a small kitchenette for making your own simple food, and both a combini and supermarket within walking distance.

The location is a little bit hard to find as it's quite anonymous, but helpful neighbors are more than willing to point you in the right direction. Very close to a bus stop for the sightseeing loop bus which stops at all the big sights of Kanazawa. Also in walking distance to Higashi-chaya or "little Kyoto". Highly recommend trying one of the many sentou located close to the Guesthouse. A truly authentic Japanese experience. The host and staff of the Guesthouse are easy to talk to and very friendly.

The owner and staff are really kind and helpful. Comfortable beds and cooking stuff make it easy staying. Yamato style building and decoration are quite special.
