利き酒体験@福光屋。水と米にこだわっているということで、4種の純米酒を試飲させてもらいました。中には10万を超える日本酒もあり (試飲対象外) 面白かったです。

それにしても、酒蔵は利き酒会でお金を取り、お酒のお土産でもお金を取り…と商売上手だなと思いました。

オシャレなお店。贈答品としても喜ばれるものばかり。北陸のお酒は豊潤で香りが良い種類が多いように感じます。日本酒を使った化粧品もあるから気になります。杜氏のお肌って綺麗な方多いみたい。酵母が良いのでしょうか。お店の中でも日本酒を使ったスィーツもあるようです。

酒造メーカー直営の日本酒関連セレクトショップ。内部のカフェでスイーツ、飲み比べを提供。家族で訪れてもゆっくりできる。
ここが造っている日本酒はもとより麹を使った食品、化粧品など興味ある人は立ち寄ると楽しい。ひがし茶屋街から少し離れているから事もあり、小さい店内でも混雑しているのを見たことないし、その分店員さんからいろいろ教えてもらえる。ちなみにうらぶれ感も全くありません。何故なら酒蔵併設の店のため小売が主でなく、従業員の方もいろいろ忙しそうだから。
なお現在コロナのため酒蔵見学、ガイドは休止・限定開催のようだが、酒好きに本当はこれをオススメしたい。

(4.5) 石川県の蔵の中でも秀逸で良心的

「加賀鳶」の純米 (大) 吟醸がベストだけど他もいい。その理由は《混ぜ物をしない》つまり酒造米、掛け米、麹、酵母、水だけで醸すことに拘っていること。安心して選べる。

1625年創業と石川県の中でも最も長い歴史を持つ。

Really informative and interactive tour of a sake brewery. When I have visited breweries and wineries in other countries you are usually looking through a window at the process. It's very different here, you put on a hygenic hat, face mask, jacket and, overshoes and are taken through the entire process, tasting sake straight from the vat and speaking with the makers. There is a structured tasting at the end. Our guide was very helpful, enthusiastic and informative. Make sure that you book in advance.

We were very fortunate to have booked Fukumitsuya's brewery and sake tasting tour for our trip to Kanazawa. The staff spoke perfect English and were very thorough in explaining their sake making process. Their sake is made with spring water that runs down from Hakusan, one of Japan's three sacred mountains, in a process that takes over a hundred years. So, in a way, every sip is a taste from a hundred years past. It has been very educational~ For anyone interested in booking a tour, you can take a look at their website~

The Fukumitsuya Sake Brewery is well worth a visit. The host was so lovely and spoke perfect English. She took us on a tour of the factory and we learned about the sake making process - and of course had some tastings:)

Great English supportive staff, very helpful, friendly and great price (1100-1500¥) for a very refined sake tasting. Recommended to all tourists in the region. Thank you!

Went in and did a tasting (¥1500). Sake was excellent and the staff were very polite and spoke English well.

Very nice quaint place with great and friendly staff. The premium tasting was educational, and of course, very delicious. Also, pony up and buy the glass. You'll regret not doing so later.
