千条の滝

金型はこね荘さんの前からほとんど平坦な歩道を歩いてすぐです。
未舗装なので、特に雨季や前日雨が降った日などは、白や薄い色の靴はやめた方が良いかもしれません。
滝は個人的にはそれほど感動しませんでした。
飛龍の滝の方が滝らしいです。

小振りな滝ですが、細いいく筋もの水が落ち、たくさんのマイナスイオンを浴びられるような気持ちです。
駐車スペースがあると投稿されていますが、駐車場はありません。
車道から徒歩5分くらいです。

高さ約3m、幅約25mの苔むした岩肌をつたってすだれ状に静かに流れる横長の滝。水が千の糸となって流れ落ちることが名前の由来。モミジやカエデが生育し、紅葉の名所でもある他、初夏にはゲンジボタルが飛び交い、幻想的な光景が見られる。

Awesome piece of nature hiding in plain sight.

If you are thinking of cool a dip in the water, the stream opposite to the falls is the place. The falls per se is just for viewing. You can get into the pool of the falls but the floor of the pool is very marshy and the stream of the falling water is not enough.

分かりにくい場所ですが、小涌谷駅から徒歩15～20程度でたどり着きます。
すぐ目の前、触れるほどの距離の間近で楽しめます。
規模は小さめですが、白糸の滝の様に崖面から染み出した滝が横に広がる様は必見です。

Hidden gem tucked away. Its a small 5 minute trek from the road. Great for anyone adventurous and seems to be only be known by locals. In our trek, we only saw 3 other Japanese people. It was a wonderful area to appreciate the nature and for photos

What a super waterfalls nestled in the mountains. Not very high maybe 3.5 metters but long. Possibly 10 meters. If you look closely you will find the only fresh water crab in Japan. They are in the moss and rock holes on the waterfalls face. It is called Sawagani. They are yellowish white with a dark spot on their back. We also found a reddish crab but probably a baby or immature one. Super spot. HAPPY Trials

Much smaller than the photos led me to expect! I wouldn’t go out of your way to visit here, though I expect it’s nice in autumn or when blossoms are out. Good to pass by if you are having a walk around the area.

The nice place to take pictures and enjoy to be in nature. You can have fun river by the place too.
