ホテルおかだ 箱根ホテル・旅館・ランチ・日帰り温泉

良い:
湯本駅から少し離れたところにある古いホテルですが、設備が古いですが、綺麗です。周りの景色もよく、温泉、露天風呂は最高です！

悪い:
食事はバイキングで嬉しいが、ステーキや天ぷらやすしを提供していた。ステージと天ぷらはオーダーが入ってから作ることだから忙しそうだった。それに対して、すし場はオーダーなくても作っておいてる。寿司場の2名のスタッフは喋りながらすしを握ってた。私はすしを3回取りにいた、くれたすしのワサビの量が毎回違った！1回目は全部ワサビなし、2回目はワサビありとワサビなしのが一個ずつ、3回目は全部ワサビあり、その内の一つは涙出るぐらいの量があった。 (1回目と2回目の写真を撮って残した) こんな差があったのがなんなんだ！寿司握り人は素人！？素人でも真面目に仕事をやるならワサビのミスしない！

部屋風呂がついているプランにしました。たっぷりのお湯は心地よく、贅沢な時間を過ごしました。夕食、朝食ともに品数が多く、ワインを飲みながら楽しみました。残ったワインは部屋まで届けてくれ、ありがたかったです。いい思い出ができました。

My group really enjoyed the experience.
It is pricy but the rooms with the private onsen are a great way to relax if you're shy about going to the public onsen.

This place is not worth it.

Very expensive for mediocre treatment & options. Staff is kind enough but facilities are severely lacking. Our "private onsen" was basically a bathtub, and our view on the 2nd floor was of the parking lot. Maybe we got a bad room but for over $350 a night it was hardly worth it. The dinner buffet food is decent, as long as you're there early before it's all picked over. It was mostly fried food, and some pasta items that was very out of place. There are upsells for everything on site, and not even an ATM on the premises to get cash for vending machines. I was told to go 20 mins down the road to a 7-11 to get cash to spend there.
We had a FAR better onsen experience just down the road for the cost of a cheap meal. This place was unlike anywhere else I visited on my trip to Japan, which was amazing. This was supposed to be the "fancy" part of our trip, and after two days we couldn't want to leave.

ふらり箱根にきたは良いもののハズレそうなランチ店が多い。飲食店をいろいろ調べてたら最終的にホテルランチバイキングという選択肢を発見しました。
行ってみたら内装が洋風でとっても広くて明るい！名前の割にすごい。ランチをおいしく頂きました。その後の移動が大変でした。

Great experience with both indoor and outdoor hot springs. We highly recommend the hot springs if you can get there without staying at the hotel place.
We found the hotel outdated with an old stuffy smell as you leave the room. We were recommended to eat in a basement ramen shop since we checked in late and was hungry. It was a complete dump with old furniture peeling walls. It was the worst food we had in Japan, please give that a pass.

This beautiful resort is modern and comfortable while still holding on to the tradition of a family resort.

全体的に古い建物ですがきれいにリフォームや掃除がされていてとても気持ち良く過ごさせて頂きました。大浴場やバイキングも良かったです。子供の浴衣が足りなかったようで小さいサイズのものがありませんでした。
従業員の方々もすれ違う度に挨拶していたのできちんとしたホテルだと思いました。子供がとても気に入っていました。ありがとうございました。

Though I know onsen hotels in general are more expensive, I still feel like it’s over priced. One night stay is almost the price of three nights in Tokyo. Booked a room with private in-room onsen bath, from pictures on Expedia, the private onsen looked nice and big, but in reality, it was just a tiny bath tub in the bathroom and the tub actually looked a bit gross. You have to walk to another building to access the better one of the two public onsens. Buffet dinner and breakfast were just so-so. The futon bed was really comfortable though.
