Living in Japan makes it natural to expect good service, but I guess this is establishment doesn’t count. Connecting to phone calls are nearly impossible, that’s why I came to the embassy itself just to inquire. But what I got was rude and arrogant employees.

Please do not look so highly at yourselves, everyone deserves and needs respect. Just speak in a humbling, respectful manner and it’ll change everything.

We went there today we submitted reqts for LCCM. The guy who was in the window 3 is approachable. And it was a smooth transaction it took like just 30 minutes and then we left. Hopefully not take a long time for the processing of LCCM

Went there from Okinawa to process an LCCM with my wife. The employee that was accepting our documents, Kim, was very helpful and patient with us. He gave us a great solution to a small problem we had with our supporting documents. We got the LCCM in less than a week. After our marriage, we still had to process a ROM. Conveniently, the Embassy came down to Okinawa for a one day service. We had another problem with the ROM documents, but the ROM liaison was able to come up with a solution so that we did not have to fly to Tokyo again. My wife and I were in the end satisfied with their service. I'm not sure if this is already a thing, but one suggestion that would be wonderful is if the embassy can do more missions to Okinawa. That service was incredibly helpful.

I was treated nicely by a lady when i inquired about my misprinted passport but didn’t tell me where to go, what are the papers should i bring and etc.

I called to ask if I needed a visa to transit at Manila airport. They said they don’t know and I should make an international call to the Philippines and ask? ! What kind of an embassy can’t tell you if you need a visa! Worst ever.
