42 I reached out to this clinic as I was looking for an English-speaking doctor. Since I was a first timer, I was asked to come straight for the outpatient services and to my relief the clinic wasn’t crowded at all, and I was asked to fill a form and also share all symptoms that I was having.
Since I was having cold-like symptoms, they asked me to wait in a room that was covered with plastic all around, probably to contain the virus.
After a long wait, a nurse came to take my blood sample.and after a while the same nurse came to take me for a CT scan that surprised me since I hadn’t even met the doctor yet and they were just taking my tests without informing me.
I asked for an explanation and a translator told me that the doctor needed to see these reports before she would see me to rule out pneumonia or other illnesses. I found it exaggerating since I had only mild symptoms of cold and cough.
But anyway, I didn’t want to argue further as it was my first time at any Japanese clinic and I didn’t know the exact protocol so I just followed with the tests.
After another long wait the Doctor finally saw me and told me what I already knew - that I had common cold and wrote me a lengthy prescription. The doctor couldn’t speak English but the translator was there to explain what she was telling.
Overall it took me about 2hrs to get the prescription for common cold. I paid about 8k for the tests and consultation after showing my Japanese health insurance.
I am satisfied with my prescription, the staff and the clinic; but I think the tests were totally avoidable.
I visited here as they have English interpreter to talk to the doctors (my Japanese is not enough for understanding medical result).
However, bad process/result handling to patients as (1) it took 2+ hours for us to get to see the doctor and the interpreter, and (2) they won't let me get written result/explanation for our test result so I could leave earlier.
Will prefer other clinics with more English-speaking doctors.
Completely disappointed with the process and service. I was forced to have a consultation with the doctor for the blood test result and they mentioned that only the doctor can have the test result until the consultation despite of those are my-blood-test-result. Then I have to wait for 1 hour to go inside the consultation room with the result “everything is ok” for literally 1 minute and I have to pay for the consultation despite of they could have given me the result and chose to offer me whether I want to take consultation or not? ! Does not make sense at all. Won’t come back for sure.
Terrible follow up service. They don't provide paper copies of YOUR OWN medical files. Instead they charge ¥3,300 yen to transfer to a CD. Ridiculous.
Doctors are fine, nurses are great. But they don't prescribe you enough medicine that you need regularly and you have to keep coming back, and make you wait for over an hour just to get one thing prescribed over and over again. It's really a waste of time.
The clinic has specialists in many different areas, most of them are English-speaking professionals or you can ask for an interpreter with no additional tax. Premises are clean and silent; laboratories and examination rooms are in the same floor and the majority of preliminary exams are done at the clinic.
Good doctors (especially jibika, really good). They have English translators (expect longer waiting if you use one). Giving 2 starts because the clinic itself is trying to put you for as many check ups as possible and then another separate reviews with a doctor for those check ups. Usually those takes 1-2 min and no added value but you need to pay normally. They made me to go for a review of the examination from two years ago. That they forgot to do with me back then. Quite bad experience: (
I have seen the orthopedic doctor, ENT and dermatologist here. Always helpful and polite. English translator is available. Prices are normal for Japan, as I have the Japanese health insurance. Nice and clean facilities. Pharmacy is on the same floor.
I went there for a medical checkup. I was a bit early but they did not make me wait. They checked the papers and took my samples. Then somebody showed me where to change (you take everything off except underpants). They provide a pyjama style pants, a bathrobe-like top (with pockets for smartphone and glasses) and a pair of slippers (which are too small as usual).
Everyone was very kind. The language was not really an issue (somebody pick you to exam X, then somebody pick you to exam Y.) and the whole process was smooth and painless. Equipments were good too, but not as modern as I expected (especially the eye exam machines and audiometric equipment).
I recommend!

My girlfriend (who is Japanese) went to this clinic and she was advanced upon by a doctor.she didn't want to say anything but she told me and we are now considering legal action.
Better than my expectation as there is an English translation service here. Not expensive with a Japanese health insurance card.
Depending on the department, waiting time varies by alot. Anywhere. Between 5mins to 2 hrs.
Some of the doctors are careless. I've gone for a foot injury, where the doctor noted down the wrong foot for x-ray. Another otology doctor forgot my request for pain killers.
Speaking some English does not excuse the ridiculous prices. Health card or not, they charge way too much.
Better than most clinics, no long lines, they also have CT and MRI that they can check you with right away and give you feedback on the same day (in a large hospital it would take at least a week). The doctors actually will take time and explain you how your body works and what the issues are/might be and treat you like a client, a rare thing for Japanese doctors.
One of the few places having staff who understand English. Service levels are impeccable. Efficient, clean.
