牛庵(ギュウアン) 銀座店

Gyūan is beer lovers paradise. I don't eat beef much as I'm allergic but my husband wanted to try the famed Kobe beef Simon the recommendation of our hotel, Mercure, we went and it was wonderful

The restaurant is large but gives you a cozy feel since it is sectioned into many parts. There is low seating as well as chairs. It is all wood as many places are and this gives you a traditional feel.

The menu is beef only. So you can get a steak or try the other preparations like the shabu shabu.

My husband opted for the menu where the lady came to our table and cooked our food in front of us. It was absolutely delicious.

For me they did some simple grilled vegetables with miso soup, rice and pickles and it was enough for me.

The staff is very warm and friendly and you get a feeling that you were being fed by your old aunt, the way they fussed over your meal.

This is a wonderful place to get a beef meal. It's right next to the Marriott Courtyard in Ginza but the sign is small so look out for it or you will miss it.

I arrived 5 minutes before it opens up for lunch and there’s already a queue. Had the kobe beef sirloin set. Melts in your mouth but was expensive. Melts your pocket too! I like the ambiance - traditional japanese dining experience.

今日は銀座、「牛庵」でランチをいただきました。銀座で、いつも混んでいるのは価格が安く美味しいということを証明しています。以前、銀座で働いていたときにはあまり利用しなかった。なぜかというと、靴を脱がなければいけないということです。この手間が意外と障害になるものです。同じく銀座にある「えん」もあまり利用しなかった。味も美味しいし、店員さんのサービスはとても好感が持てます。

ステーキとハンバーグ！ごはんお替り自由！自由だァー！毎日行きたいわ。茅場町牛幸（俺史上最高ハンバーグの店）に並ぶ店。焼いた鉄板から上がる煙で燻製になるところまで同じｗ

Told myself I'd never pay $200 (SGD) for a meal, even if it was kobe beef. But then my brother talked me into going to gyuan and once I had that first piece of beef in my mouth, I was a goner. Sirloin is typically a tougher cut but at gyuan the Kobe simply *melts*. Absolutely delicious.

Long story short, I've been to gyuan twice now, on 2 separate holidays. No regrets.

Great place! Came here for kobe meat, and got it for a resonable price. Staff is very kind and speaks english. If you're looking for good value kobe meat, look here. Do however keep in mind, that kobe meat in itself is quite pricey.

土曜ランチにて再訪。
11: 30店到着だが、すでに店内満席。行列のため、着席できたのは約40分後。
ただ以前、平日に来た折、外で待ったことを考えれば (時間は失念した) 、少なくとも店内で待てただけよしと思われる。
神戸出身の旦那連れてったら、安い旨いと大絶賛！確かに、お肉食べた感がする。

Went there after reading the good reviews. I was so disappointed, the service is cold and uninviting. The steaks were a sub par grade cuts for prime cut prices. Clear tourist trap, I do not understand why I saw locals patronizing the place. Better options around the corner for the money they charge.

Came here for lunch at 1230 on a Monday and the place was absolutely slammed.
They have a special Hamburg which is 990 yen or a premium Hamburg which is 1350 yen (but they only serve 3 a day. Be quick)
I had the service steak double size and rice which is a 300 gram slab of aussie beef which was cooked perfectly.
For this price i was very satisfied and would highly recommend coming. Just get there early to get the daily specials.

アメリカ人の友人が神戸牛を食べたいと言うので案内。古民家風の造りに感激していた。数量限定のハンバーグを2連続食べられず、開店30分前に並び三度目の正直で間に合ったが既に行列は地上まで。因みにハンバーグ以外のサービスステーキやすき焼き風も美味しいのでハンバーグが売切でも問題無し。夜も含めて飽きない。
