Once you agree on how much risk you want to take with your portfolio as well on the contribution amount, your involvement is minimal and pain free.
You get assigned one advisor, and so far speed of reply and customer service quality has been great. Your advisor follows up roughly every quarter with you to discuss your portfolio performance, and also stays active to recommend new investment strategy as situation in the market evolves.

Advantage of the plans they propose is that they can still be maintained regardless of your country of residence, which is ideal for those who frequently change country location.

I did want to post this review in appreciation of Lloyd's willingness to provide initial inputs on our situation. He was very professional, offered thoughtful perspectives, and was transparent about his company's fee structures across various services without applying any sales pressure. I’ve started my first private pension in 2009 with one of the big private pension managers but I have become very quickly dissatisfied with them due to lack of support and importance they awarded to a small ticket individual like myself. This is how I ended up opening a second plan with Argentum back in 2012 and, after a few years being very satisfied with their quality of service and their professionalism, switched the old plan under their management as well. If you want your financial adviser to be personable, competent, put your interest first, and not drown you in managerial puffery and publicity Argentum might just be what you are looking for.
