We did the Hidden Gems tour in Tokyo with Yappy and Mai (sincere apologizes if I messed up her name) who were the real hidden gems here. OMG! They were so much fun! What a wonderful experience. We started our night at a little at a little bar with all you can drink barrel of various beverages. Had an appetizer of Wagyu Beef Sushi, with a few options with unique starters. Then we moved on to a Saki bar and tried 4 different kinds of Saki and sampled some snacks unlike anything else I've ever had. Next, we moved to a small place with more drinks and skewers. Finally, we wrapped up our night with Ramen that used a shrimp-based broth. SO GOOD! The food and company were wonderful and the tour and education we received along the way made for a very enjoyable evening. I can't say enough good thing about this final night in Japan. What great way to end our trip.

Had one of the best tours we’ve been on with Thomas touring Kyoto’s sake district. Was so incredibly accommodating and made sure all our questions were answered. Went above and beyond taking us to a museum, lunch at a brewery, wonderful street side dessert, historical landmarks, and a sake sommelier. Not only that, he helped us get home after. Only wish we had more time to go on more tours with Thomas. Could not recommend more.

Our guide, Yuko, was wonderful in guiding my family this May in Tokyo. She led us on a great food tour through the Yanaka District and allowed us time to not only taste foods of the region, but gave us time to shop a bit without rushing.
She was knowledgeable about the history of the area and gave us suggestions for exploring on our own after the tour was completed.
