Bar Trench

Just a great cocktail experience. All is good there, the location, the venue itself and it atmosphere, the service and of course the cocktails. The menu is very diverse with plenty of options to taste and discover. Some may say it is expensive but not sure if that's really true if you compare that level of service and quality you get here with some other places (in or out Japan) for the exact same prices. A small oasis for Cocktails lovers.

It is really a beautiful place with nice cocktails but it is so small so it is difficult to find a place!

A very nice little bar close to ebisu station. Interesting cocktails. We managed to grab one of the few tables, but the place seems to be very popular. I guess it's best to try to go earlier.

My wife and I came to this mixology bar per a recommendation from a friend.

The atmosphere was fantastic. It is darker but not too dark and filled with books along with old photos and records. Overall though it is very cozy with seating for about 15 inside and probably another 5-8 outside. This was not a frat boy type of party bar. There is a 500 yen cover charge to keep the dilettantes out.

The drinks were very good and the mixologists were on point. We both did 3 cocktails listed on the menu but the mixologists can mix much more and modify what they have if you want. I added more spice to a tequila drink of mine and loved it. Your drinks are served in glasses that are appropriate for the type of liquor and flavoring and they have a very wide selection of high quality liquors. For instance the Gin selection was so good it did not even include Bombay Sapphire. The prices reflect this with about 1,500 yen (~ 15 USD) per drink but it was well worth it. Food is available which is made by a sister/brother bar down the road.

Mixology is a relatively new thing in Japan and this bar could put any established country to the test. I highly recommend it and will return soon.

A must-visit bar if you arrive to Tokyo. Great on every aspect, atmosphere, drinks, stuff, location. Highly highly recommended.

Very nice bar tucked in the alleyways behind Ebisu. Really liked how the walls are filled with books and gives off a very sophisticated atmosphere. The bartenders were very welcoming and recommended the perfect drinks for us.

A nice place indeed. A very nice interior decoration indeed. Cocktails are really good and well made. But it is really expensive! For one cocktail, you will be charged almost ¥2000 per person. It is very small so, on a Friday or Saturday evening/night, expect to wait your turn outside.

Very nice place, nice atmosphere, the barman are very welcoming. The cocktails are extremely good. (That milk punch!)

I recommend also the other bars, in the same neighborhood, hold by the same owner I think, Triad and Tram.

Worse bar etiquette. Avoid if you don't want to be disappointed by rude barman with no bar etiquette.
