Been renting an apartment with them for a few years now. If I have any issues with my apartment, my agent Dominik Zorvan has always been attentive and quick to respond to any issues I have. The multilingual support is great. I recommend using Fontana if you want an easy-going and no stress for moving apartments.

Not bad but not fantastic either. Apartments are okay, not terrible but not bad either. The locations are pretty good however.

The apartment was livable but small and expensive, I initially found the staff very helpful and moving in very easy.it really depends on the agent you deal with. There was a really friendly French guy who was very helpful but my main agent and American guy called Daniel was a raging hard on.

Good options if you are just getting started here in Tokyo. It's always been tricky here finding an apartment but this company makes the whole process fairly easy.

I've been renting an apartment through Fontana for a few months and didn't have any problems! The staff was always very fast to respond. My agent was Verner, who was always very friendly and helpful! Would recommend it to anyone who needs an English speaking service and wants it uncomplicated. Also esp.good for short term stays!

I was in two of their apartments and everything was perfect. They attended every request and always tried to help.

If you speak Spanish, ask for Pablo, he is super friendly, super nice. I had the checkout with him and he was more than helpful:)

I've used Fontana a couple of times and have no complaints, the rent is reasonable, the apartment I had the second time round was great in a great location, the staff were helpful.great company to use and I'd be happy to use them again if I ever return to Tokyo.

I've been renting an apartment with Fontana for almost a year now but I first rented out a guestroom with them. I think the experience differs upon where you live and each person's personal preference.

Fontana is pretty much at a more reasonable price considering some of the basic furniture you would need, comes with the guestroom or apartment.
1. Good Location
Most of their guestrooms and apartments are located fairly near the station.
2. Friendly Staff
Although I was confused about who my agent was during my first day in Japan and they also mixed up the schedules of my arrival. The staff who spoke to me was quick on his feet and was able to help me even though their schedules were mixed up. My agent is also very friendly and nice. I've also met the other staff when paying for my rent and they were friendly too.:)
3. Foreigner Friendly
When I checked their website they have an international staff which is a plus for people who can only speak their native language.
4. No Guarantor Fee/ Key Money
This is a big help for foreigners who do not know anyone who can be their guarantor. Also the key money is pretty much a big amount upon moving in. If you're not sure how long you'll be staying in Japan you might want to avoid this.
5. Quick Response
Whenever something needs to be replaced (e.g. Light bulbs) or fixed just email your agent and they'll be able to assist you in this as long as it is one of the basic appliances originally in the room.
6. Help when moving
They help you move when you want to switch to their other apartments.
7. Accessible Office and Open almost everyday

P. S. For a guesthouse
Check the place out and check if the window is shared or you'll be listening in to conversations that you may not want to hear. (vice versa)

I spent 2 years renting a flat in Fontana and it’s really difficult to rate this agency. Your experience will depend on your real estate agent, Fontana obviously don’t have a general policy. If your lucky everything will go smooth, if not it can be quite a nightmare. Important to notice that I had 3 different agents in 2 years.
Important to notice as well:
Some of these agents wanted me to pay for an insurance, 2000 ¥ per month saying it’s mandatory without any insurance contracts (so you know what it’s covering). I always refuse to pay this insurance and I really wonder if it’s even legal.
To give some positive points I have to say that Fontana is cheaper than the others agency and I could receive my deposit back without any problems.

I've been living in Fontana's apartments for 2 years and now leaving Japan, and it has been great thanks to them. The apartment are clean, cheap, furnished (which in Tokyo is either impossible to find or super expensive). The staff is always helpful, smooth check in and check out.

I stayed with Fontana for 6 months. In terms of short term rentals for foreigners, and if you don't want to stay in a share house, Fontana is the way to go.

My place was in a great location and only a 3 minute walk from the subway station.

Shout out to Pablo and Verner who are the absolute best! Really helpful, accommodating, and good at what they do.

I highly recommend Fontana to anyone who is coming to Tokyo and looking for accommodation (especially foriengers who don't speak Japanese!)

The initial process was an easy process, Samson first drove me around different areas to seek the best place to suit my needs. I've then been in frequent contact with Pablo who has been really responsive to different needs. Also, everyone else who I've encountered throughout my visit to Fontana have been very helpful too.

I've been living with Fontana Housing for a few years, service is really good and responsible, response is super fast, and very friendly people. One day my washing machine broke, sent an email and the next day it was fixed already!

Also the rent system is monthly so if you don't know till when you'll be staying in Japan its very convenient.

Super agence pour trouver un appartment quand on est etranger.
Pas de reikin, les appartments sont propres avec mobilier et internet inclus.

Le staff est super sympa et reactif.

Until now has been a good experience, every problem that I had with my former apartment and my current one, has been covered by the staff, in my case my agent is Jason, and he helped me with any question and trouble that I had while I'm staying here. It's difficult to find a cheapest option in West Tokyo, and my apartment is really nice. I'm satisfied.

Very convenient furnished apartment service. Had no trouble moving in and was very thankful for the English speaking staff, it made the process a lot easier than I thought it would be! My agent Pablo has been very quick to help me if anything has broken in the apartment or if I need any advice on bills and setting everything up. He's usually here within a few minutes of calling the office. I would highly recommend their service to any expats looking to rent in the Nakano/Shinjuku area!

Highly recomendable: very convenient for a fast and easy settle down in Tokyo. My direct contact with the agency, Pablo, was very friendly and helpful. Price is quite reasonable, given the location of the house (Ebisu).
