Gold Salon is the best place I’ve ever gotten my hair cut and colored. Lana is an amazing colorist and stylist and I highly recommend her. The salon is easy to find, very clean, and the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and they speak English. Can’t recommend this place enough – they know what they are doing! Thank you Gold Salon! (Too bad I can’t come to Tokyo ever time I need a haircut)

I went in for a colour and trim and can't speak highly enough of Howard and his team. Booking was easy and English is no problem and the staff are super professional but very friendly. They balance your needs with good advice and the colour came out perfectly. I will definitely be going back!

Amazing experience! The service here is incredible from start to finish. Yuki did my hair and he was fantastic. The head massage was the best I have ever had! Wish it lasted for hours haha.

I really loved this hair salon! Yes it might me a bit pricy but my hair artist Yuki really did a wonderful job! He really knows a lot about bleaching and treating damaged hair. It was a great experience and u really loved how my hair turned out. I got some Balayage and a toner plus haircut and styling. Will come again!

I have been coming to this salon since it first opened. It is the only place in town that Really knows how to do my hair which is naturally curly. Yuki san, my stylist has a natural ability to cut my hair to keep it looking good even when I style it. That has been difficult before now so I am very pleased with his technique. The head massage is always a melting experience.

I got Yuuki as my hairdresser and he was really friendly and gave his honest opinions before making the cut. Did a short textured bob and balayage and absolutely love it! If you're looking to do western hairstyles i'd definitely recommend this place.

The best experience I’ve had at a Japanese hair salon! Lana, the lovely stylist in charge of changing my image was so helpful and although I went with the intent of coloring my (very damaged) hair she instead suggested extensions- which I hadn’t even considered. Albeit slightly daunting, she carefully applied them and was mindful of the fact that I wear my hair up for work and made sure the extensions wouldn’t show if I put my hair up in the usual way I do! 10/10 service, would highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

I was worried moving to Japan that I would struggle to find a hair stylist who could do blonde highlights well - I needn't have! Hiro is the best hair colourist I've ever had. He listens carefully, is meticulous in colour application, and is forgiving of my below-average Japanese. He's also a lovely person. I have never walked away from an appointment feeling disappointed, but I have the feeling that if I did, I would be able to raise it with salon staff and they would do everything they could to remedy the situation. They are transparent and upfront about costs, and the owner is approachable and honest with his suggestions and feedback. The salon uses colour treatments safe for use in western hair. I highly recommend this salon!

I have been coming to see Yuki at Gold salon for two years and I would never dream of going anywhere else! Superb color every time and the only person I trust with my ginger locks! I have tried other salons in Tokyo and have always been disappointed with their attempts at creating a true ginger colour. Don't waste your time or money at any other salon, go for Gold!

I had an haircut with annette last week at the omotesando salon. It was a great experience and i left really happy with the result. She gave me a lot of useful tips about styling. I will definitely be back.

Thank God for this salon. Ive been in Japan for 20 years and have had green hair, at least that's what I saw, to bleached out broken hair, to thinned out hair on already fine hair! Yuki at Golds does my hair perfectly every time. Color and cut and great coffee and music. Thank you always!

Fabulous time and experience! Lara walked me through different varieties of the hair color and cut, and ensured I understood the maintenance and upkeep process. It was extremely thorough, relaxing and I felt well looked after for my duration in the salon. Gorgeous environment and ambiance, and conveniently located right near Azabu Juban station.

Awesome experience! Hiro was very meticulous and patient when my hair wasn't taking the bleach. I'm used to having to explain how to cut my hair in Japan as well, but he was totally amazing and handled it great, I'm super pleased with the results. Two thumbs up!

This was my first time visiting the salon, and all my expectations were blown out of the water. The staff is beyond friendly and all very talented stylists. I left feeling great, receiving amazing service and getting the exact colour and style I was looking for. I had an absolutely incredible experience at Gold Salon Tokyo. I was uneasy about getting my hair highlighted in Japan as I have platinum blonde hair and have heard horror stories, but Hiro did a phenomenal job. The level of skill at this establishment is extremely high. I will definitely be back.
