KANTO LODGE 件の口コミ
37 It was a lodge. No kitchen. Microwave and mini-fridge.
Update: what's in the room depends on which room you get. There are rooms and suites with varying cooking options from microwave to kitchens.
Classic military hotel. Outdated but good quality. It brought me right back to the 60's. Since it was clean, I have no objections.
First of all Kanto Lodge is a military guest house/hotel. The facilities may be outdated, the televisions may be old, but considering that it is not a for profit facility the staff does an excellent job of maintaining it. The rooms are clean, the staff very attentive, courteous and responsive. I have stayed at the Kanto several times over the course of the last 10 years and never encountered an instance where the staff was not professional even when engaged by upset or frustrated customers. The rates are governed by the GTR and considering the fact that most of the customers are military members or DoD employees the rates rates are reimbursable. I have stayed at other facilities both for work and leisure, their appearance or amenities may be different (newer room and appliances) than the Kanto, but nowhere has the staff been so efficient, courteous or professional.
Our room was spacious and clean. Enjoyed the kitchen! Had a quick tea/ coffee maker inside.
Downfall- no hair conditioner.
The t.v. Has more channels which is nice when you're ROM on base.
Has bus to go to Narita airport.
Staff were really nice!
One of the ladies at the front desk really puts me off every time I need to go there. She is always talking to male customers in a gross way and cold (not friendly) with female ones.
I hope it's just my impression tho.
The complementary toiletries (shampoo, bathsoap, facial soap, and lotion) are still the same ones USAF lodging provides for the past 12 years. The liquid inside the lotion bottles were so old it flowed like water and reeked like rancid cooking oil.
Over all, it was relatively clean with a kitchen. The hot water does get extremely hot so be careful.
Get a kitchen room. The lodge is a bit dated, but very comfortable. A short/medium walk to the commissary
Nice place with friendly staff. Parking isn't ideal. Small tv monitors but fully net enabled. Paper towels or water needed in rooms.
Not the fanciest, but always nice to stay in a hotel that is more like a 1 bedroom apartment. Furnished with cookware and dining ware.
I had a good experience here. I would highly recommend calling and making a reservation before hand if you know you need to stay here. There are shuttles that come from Narita and Haneda that are fairly easy to catch. Look online for those times. There's a shuttle that goes to the AMC terminal, but I would see if you could get a ride from someone else earlier. Food closes by 2100 and delivery even earlier.
Nice room and helpful service. Also in a good location to walk where ever you need to go. If I had to choose again, I would stay here again.
The room is outdated and could use some modernizing, from TV to furniture. Otherwise, the stay was as expected for COVID restrictions.
Service was horrible, waited in lobby for 2 hours. Long line of people, tried to call to make reservation, but phone numbers didnt work. Approached the associate at the desk, told me to wait in the lobby so they could serve all people with reservations first.
My family and I always get outstanding and professional service from the staff. We stayed there several times and we definitely recommend them. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and smoke free. Most importantly, they have pet friendly rooms.
Decent place, clean. Staff is good
Starbucks in the lobby. Free parking. Massage business. Small cardio gym.
Its a decent place to stay for a little while. The rooms are kinda pricey for it being on a military base but they are very roomy. There is a partial kitchen in them to. I dont think there was a stove there may very well have been. If there was there werent any pots and pans for it but there is a larg fridge and a microwave and the room we had has a pretty nice coffee maker. There is a coffee shop in the lobby, and a lot of places will deliver there. They give you a list with all the places that deliver with there phone numbers and website. Most things like food are within a short walking distance to
Kanto lodge desk receptionists were wonderful! Room was larger than I expected and clean! Ofuro tub was a great end to a loooooooong travel day!
Excellent and convenient. It's perfectly located within walking distance to the gym, shopping and registration centers.
