It was my first time getting a tattoo and I really wanted to have it professionally done. I searched high and low for artists in Tokyo and timed it with my trip. I was so lucky to have found Ron. What an artist he is. The transaction was purely done online and i just relayed to him what I wanted my tattoo to look like. He drafted a a sketch and it was far better than what I had imagined. The transaction was very smooth and the instructions given to me were clear. Overall a very good experience. Will surely be back for another one the next time i visit Tokyo.

I discovered Ron's work on Instagram a while ago and found it amazing, so naturally when I decided to do a trip to Tokyo, I contacted the studio to get a tattoo from him. Everything went super smoothly, from the email communication to settle on a design and the price to the deposit payment. On the day of the tatto, it was even better than what I expected! I had already been tattooed before, but this was by far the least painful and most precise piece I got. The studio was spotless, and I felt super confident throughout the whole process. After the tattoo, we had a nice chat with Ron and his assistant and they even recommended some places to visit for the rest of my trip! 5/5 experience!

Very good welcome, great atmosphere in the lounge. The team was very reactive and was able to offer me an appointment just before my departure. Ron is a fantastic artist, I am happy to have stumbled upon a fan of Katsuhiro Otomo’s work, which made the experience even more interesting for my first tattoo.
I will definitely come back on my next trip to Japan!

Ron and the team at ShiRyuDoh is absolutely the best! They are quick to respond from start to finish, friendly, and very welcoming into the quaint studio. Any questions that I had were addressed professionally and they made sure to double check if I was happy with the design before confirming any details.
Ron is amazing at his work and is very careful when it came to details and ensuring that I was okay throughout the whole process. Unlike other artists, he is gentle with his technique and you can tell that he knows what he is doing.
I highly recommend anyone who is interested in getting a tattoo to go here! If my urge to get yet another tattoo comes up, I will most definitely come back again!

Great little tattoo shop just outside Tokyo. Ron is an amazing artist, very professional, sanitary, and fast. His designs are fantastic and no doubt he can create something for you that you'll love. His staff is great as well, very helpful and quick to respond during the planning stages.

This tattoo shop is amazing!
They answer very quickly to emails and are very kind. I asked for a small tattoo with Ron a week before going back to France and they managed to find me a spot just before my travel.
Ron did an awesome work by designing a beautiful drawing. The day of the tattoo, they were very welcoming and Sarah (Ron's assistant) explained me well everything about the tattoo process and aftercares.
Ron did an awesome job, very focused will doing the tattoo, almost like a meditation. I am still amazed by this awesome tattoo which brings me inner peace every time I am looking at it.

Had an excellent experience getting a tattoo here! I found the shop on Instagram, and contacted them via email. The staff was very responsive, and there wasn't really any language barrier. Ron did a great job translating my ideas into a design, and I was able to see it and give feedback well in advance of my appointment.

On the day of, the actual tattooing went smoothly. The space was clean and professional, and I didn't have any issues. Also got clear instructions for after care. The tattoo came out great! Definitely recommended.

I had such a wonderful experience with ShiRyuDoh. As soon as I saw Ron’s designs on the internet as well as the reviews I knew I had to go and I was not disappointed. I previously had a tattoo that I was really not happy with and Ron was kind enough not only to agree to add his own deign to the tattoo but also to touch up my original tattoo. He did such an amazing job and I am really happy with what he created. His staff listened to all of my ideas and Ron designed and executed my tattoo with such precision and care. The shop itself is gorgeous and all of the staff including Ron are friendly and informative. I highly recommended ShiRyuDoh for anyone wanting to get a tattoo with excellent line work with a touch of Japanese symbolism.

Ron's design is special, I like it very much, he is professional and also friendly and patient, his staffs give us so much help, all of this make our trip more unforgettable. If I will do a new tattoo in the future, I will still choose Shiryudoh.
