I've been wanting to get a new tattoo for a while and Ron's parlor came to my attention due to his unique designs and excellent linework. I had a pretty strong idea of what I wanted to get and Ron was great at working with me to get the design that I had in mind while still offering changes and tweaks that would make the finished product look its best. Communication was clear with everyone in the studio over email and in person and they were very flexible working with me when I needed to reschedule my initial appointment. The studio itself is comfortable and the tattooing process was quick and easy. Overall, one of the best tattooing experiences I've had anywhere. Would definitely recommend!

The experience at ShirRyuDoh was amazing, I couldn’t have asked for better! Ron and Sarah were both awesome, making communicating about the design really easy, as well as any additional information or questions I might have. I'd been looking to get a tattoo whilst living in Japan since 2016 but I never found the right place for me, until I found Ron's place a few weeks ago and booked straight away! The studio is lovely and chill, the staff are incredibly helpful and communicated really well throughout the booking process and the tattoo process. Ron is a great artist and takes a huge amount of pride in his work. My tattoo was of a simple design and didn't take so long to do, and I am still in awe of how painless it was. I truly recommend ShuRyuDoh and I look forward to returning for more work.

I decided to get a tattoo during my trip to Tokyo, Japan in October 2019 and I came across Ron's studio. Ron has a unique style of tattoo designs that drew my attention right away. He has the best line work I've ever seen. Communicating with Ron with his staff, who are perfectly fluent in English, was simple and easily done over email. And once I arrived, the finalized design didn't take too long to ink. Ron has steady hands and is very light handed. I am very pleased with the tattoo. Overall the experience was excellent.

Visiting Tokyo for the first time and was searching for a unique piece to add to my collection. I found ShiRyuDoh on Instagram and found the work beautiful on its own, then I read through the website and the meaning behind each of his styles and I absolutely fell in love. His assistant was amazing at emailing back and forth to set up an appointment and design, and Ron absolutely killed the design. The tattoo itself was exactly what I wanted, his linework is absolutely impeccable. He doesn't talk much while working but it's a very comfortable atmosphere and I found it hard to stay awake. From beginning to end I cannot recommend this shop enough, everyone is welcoming, warm, and the work speaks for itself. I will definitely be coming back to get more of his artwork!
