初めての日本旅行でタトゥーを入れたいとずっと思っていて、InstagramでYOSHIKIさんのアートを見たのでスタジオマスカットを選びました。私がメールでやり取りしたデイビッドは、信じられないほど忍耐強く、誠実に私に接してくれました。私の意見がプロセスそのものに実際に影響を与えていると感じさせてくれました。

プロセス自体に関して言えば、YOSHIKIは素晴らしかった。彼の素晴らしい芸術はさておき、たとえ丸8時間も続いたにもかかわらず、彼はプロセス全体を通してとても親切でした。片言の日本語でもコミュニケーションが取れ、一日中全てがとても充実していて楽しかったです！

全体として、スタジオ マスカットは、（タトゥーを含めた）物理的な面だけでなく、一般的な面でも、私に素晴らしい印象を与えてくれました。

次回日本に来るときは、100%ここに戻ってきます。

Both the translator and the tattoo artist are so polite. Also the translator, David, is very considerate, patient and has many advice to my overall tattoo design and eventually it came out super nice thanks to Eiji. The studio looks very chilling and cool so on the whole I had a great experience having my third tattoo here!

Wow what a great studio! Stopped to get some tattoos to remember our time in Tokyo and so glad we chose here! Mizuki was incredibly precise and I am so happy with the result!

Just had my tattoo done here and it was amazing. Staff were very friendly and professional the whole time, from David helping to arrange it via email, to Asao, who designed the tattoo perfectly from my limited descriptions and completed it exactly how I'd imagined it would look from the picture. The design Shinya-san made for my tattoo was amazing and they did a great job incorporating my feedback. They also had great English support, and the studio in general from cleanliness to the aftercare guide were all very professional (the best I've seen from any studio in our outside JP personally).

Great service. Location is clean, warm and very welcoming. Look forward to my session to expand this review.

The customer service was impeccable. Mizuki worked on me and she was so professional and thorough. It was also very clean. Before going I spoke with David and he was so helpful and guided me through everything. I'd definitely go there again.

After being very pleased with my first visit to Studio Muscat in 2018, I returned a second time in November of 2019. The booking and design process was a simple and painless as the first time. On the day of my appointment, Asao remembered me from the previous time, asking if my first tattoo from her needed any touching up done. It felt like seeing an old friend again. The guy talking about Studio Muscat rushing tattoos couldn't be more wrong - Asao is probably the slowest tattoo artist I've had, and I think that's great. She takes great pride in the work she does and wants to get it done right.

I also had a tattoo done by Zuke the following day. For an apprentice, his work was great. If I want calligraphy style tattooing done in the future, I won't hesitate to ask for him again!

I know that when I next make it back to Tokyo and Japan, I won't need to think about it - I'll definitely be getting more ink done at Studio Muscat.

Amazing service and the results are like magic. For me my first tattoo and it hardly hurt at all. My boyfriends is stunning and such a big piece in such a short time. Such gifted amazing artist there.

I worked with Asao on a tattoo for my back. She was very open and listened to my ideas and had her own input. She told me she has 15 years of experience tattooing and when I had some rather serious issues while getting the tattoo, worked accordingly and helped me recover before proceeding. It was fast, and extremely well done.

Incredible service! I was passing through hoping for a drop in. They don't do drop ins but they showed me some artists who were available the next few days (I wasn't going to be in Tokyo long). I set up a consult with masa the day after and we decided on a piece that I would get based of one of his earlier designs. I got the tattoo the following day. They are very hygienic and provided me with excellent after care tips in English. The artistry by masa was impeccable and I am certainly considering getting more if I come back to Tokyo!

One final note that they are really good at English compared to most of the locals! This really helped when I was describing what I wanted as I don't speak any Japanese. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo in Tokyo.

This is going to echo a lot of the other 5 star reviews. My mom and I were travelling and had only 2 days left in Tokyo. We saw someone walking by with a fresh tattoo so I stopped them and asked where they had it done, and they said studio muscat! I emailed about walk-ins (not something they do) and David replied to say they had a spot with Eiji that opened up the next day. My mom and I both got tattooed by Eiji who came with 4 alternate designs of the characters for “family” or “kazoku” all in different styles. We loved the options, the studio is super cool with a unique layout, all while being extremely clean with very fair rates. Loved the work done and the aftercare provided. 5/5,10/10, would recommend!

Pros: Fast, can copy pictures well, good for tourists

Cons: Price, quality, creativity, designed for tourists

They are not really good at making tattoos from your ideas. Either copy a picture of something you have or you can buy a design of theirs. I have been to 4 tattoo studios over my life and have many tattoos (2 full sleeves) but I think this place was just ok. I wouldn't recommend it. There market is mainly aimed at the gaijin that is on a quick vacation to japan and maybe wants to get something done fast. Also pricey because of their target clientele but without the matching quality to back it up.

I felt fairly satisfied with the tattoo; however I would still not recommend this studio over any other if you are a person living in Japan. Too each their own though.

A few months in advance I reached out to Studio Muscat about my tattoo idea, and David got in touch with me right away. My trip to Japan was only a couple weeks long and I had a tight schedule, but they had no problem working me into a day and finding the perfect artist for my idea.

I got my tattoo with Asao-san and she does outstanding work. It was my first tattoo and was very important to me that I had it done in Japan, as I had put alot of thought into what I wanted. Asao-san's style was perfect for what I had in mind and I placed trust in her for the design, without regret! The tattoo itself was completed in just under 3 hours and has healed without any problems.

If you're looking to get a tattoo in Japan, but aren't an expert at the language, look no further!

Outstanding artists here. Professional, clean, very detailed, and made sure everything was perfect before tattooing. After a year my tattoo looks exactly like the day Shinya tattooed me. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing studio! Super clean and chill with a relaxed vibe. Only a 10 minute walk from Shibuya Crossing.

Asao is an exceptional and talented artist and I'm glad she was able to provide lasting souvenir for my first trip to Japan. Entire piece took a little over 3 hours and looks phenomenal after a week of healing.

Communication was done via email with David in English and there were no issues with payment and sketch samples.

I definitely recommend Studio Muscat and will definitely be back for another art piece when I return to Japan!

My experience with Studio Muscat in Tokyo Shibuya was absolutely a blast!
I had my consulting via E-mail with David (who was by the way very responsive, helpful and very kind) due to the tight schedule of the whole muscat crew and my quite spontaneous inquiry. It worked out eventually and I got my design finished by Eiji. I got my appointment and Eiji is just a master of his craft! The end result exceeded my expectations by far and every staff member I#ve met their were so kind and helpful. Funny thing.i didn't get to eat before and my blood pressure and adrelanine level got a little crazy so I fainted after the tattoo was finished. Kaz and Eiji took very good care of me though and I felt better very quickly.

Thank you for everything. Definitely not the last time.

Such an amazing tattoo studio! Very friendly staff, clean and hygienic work areas and absolutely outstanding artwork.

David was incredibly helpful and patient with us when designing our tattoos from overseas via email and Asao, Eiji and Aoki were amazing on the day.

Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo whilst in Tokyo - both first timers and tattoo veterans.
