The host said it was full and a friendly guy was leaving and said we could take his seat. The host then asked if we had reservations. What? He clearly did not want us in there and doesn't want tourists. Waste of my time. I was going to spend a lot of money too.

I was greeted as I came in, I got their a little after 6: 00 on a Thursday when they opened so only a few people were there. I was able to sit at the bar, I had a cherry, Lemon, and pineapple cocktail and they were all fantastic.they make sure you always have some water in front of you, which is something i really appreciate and can't get enough of back in Vancouver BC. Ambiance was spectacular and fit the mood perfectly, this has been by far the best bar experience I have ever had.

すさまじく混んでいるので、時間や曜日を選んで行くほうがよさそう。
訪日外人が多くて驚くが、基本オーナーは、客の国籍問わず彼の酒をどの程度飲みたいかを感じて対応しているように思うし、そこに差別はない。
私は予約もなくいつもふらり寄らせてもらうが、サービスやお酒のクオリティに『ん？』と思うこともなく、美味しく通っている。
いずれにせよ、新宿ながら至極のBAR。

We found this place by accident and they seated our group of three very quickly. It is a small place, so it is understandable that there may not always be seating on busy nights. There are no menus, but the drinks were created based off of preference and taste after a few questions and were delicious! Can be a little pricey, but overall expected due to how high quality the cocktails were. Would definitely go back!

As we approached the entrance around 10: 15pm, my gf and I ran into two guest who just left the bar. Walking in, there were around 6 ppl at the bar and with 2 tables taken but still with plenty of room. When we got in, the bartender in the white suit took a glance at us, told us to wait just so he can tell his waiter to inform us they were full. Honestly I hear many good things and really looked forward to checking it out but with my first hand experience I won't be worrying about it too much. I guess it's true, if your appearance dont meet their standards then you aren't welcomed.

Best bar in Tokyo, maybe the world, get there early before it opens or you will not get a seat. Bartender Kayama is a Magician and his attention to detail is truly a sight to behold. Must try while you are in Tokyo, you will not be disappointed.

A cosy, cool, small cocktail bar, served by the most talented bartender who took such great care to get the balance just right! Don't be put off by the weird entrance!

Great bar! Need to visit if you come to Tokyo. Cozy with great atmosphere and very friendly staff. No menu drinks, you suggest hints about the tastes you like and they prepare a new cocktail just for you. And the result was amazing!

This isn’t so much a bar as it is a temple to cocktails. The team at Ben Fiddich have a vast knowledge, and it shows in their ability to create superb takes on classics while also crafting delicious originals that suit the client’s specific tastes. Ideally located near Shinjuku station, this is an excellent place to enjoy a great drink before heading home.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to check this place out. The experience is unforgettable. The bartender will make you a cocktail based on your preferences and tastes, and make sure you give him leeway because he will surprise you in ways you weren’t expecting. For example, he painstakingly made me a cocktail inside of an apple and it was both theatrical and delicious. Also a very cool, cosy atmosphere where you can meet people from all over.

Cozy bar with amazing cocktails and best of all.no menu! Simply tell the bartender your choice of alcohol and taste direction and they handle creating a perfect cocktail for you. Definitely worth the visit

This place is pure magic. Best cocktail bar (s) in the world. Go to the 9th floor for a more modern, chill vibe. 2nd floor is extremely traditional. Like, 1500s Europe traditional. Both are great, ~2000 jpy a cocktail

Came here because of the videos from 88rising. The cocktails were fine but nothing special even though you would be expecting something special if you were to glance at the check before your cocktails were to arrive.

The ambiance however is super awesome! A little hidden gem, they also own a cool little themed bar on the 2nd floor.

These were some of the best cocktails, both in presentation and taste, that I have ever had. The owner and head barman is pure poetry in motion.

Awesome bars, 2nd and 9th floor. No menu, choose your base and immerse in the entertainment. ~25 AUD a pop and well worth it. Enjoy.

My favourite Tokyo Bar. Master is at 9th Floor. Their absinthe and whiskey cocktails are in the premier league.

ジンジャーエールから作るという行程には
本当に驚いた。 (ついでに自分の分を注文してしまうほど)
そしてそのモスコミュールの旨さと言ったら…。

Fantastic and unique experience. The bar was a bit difficult to find, but worth the trouble. No menu of options is given; you will just be asked what you like and something delicious will be created. The glasswhere and ambience is fun—but small, so plan to try and arrive at an off-peak time if possible to ensure you can enjoy!

Very formal setting with medeivil or classical music playing. Bartenders were nice and Cocktail drinks were ok but did not compare to American craft cocktail bars ive been to.

We got turned away at 6pm on a Tuesday even though the place seemed half empty. Reserve if you plan to go.
