Maybe the most creative cocktail bar I've been to. No set menu, the highly skilled bartenders work from your choice of spirit base and flavor profile. Highly recommend stopping by for a cocktail or two!

Wonderful small bar with bespoke cocktails made to order by lovely bar staff. They created a number of gin cocktails based on my preferences (including their take on a French 75 using peach brandy and Japanese gin). Worth the visit! Roughly £15 a cocktail (6500 yen for 3)

A bit disappointed by this place. No menu available. They offer to mix whatever your favorite cocktail is. Both tries were misses for me. The Last Word I ordered was extremely bitter and was missing the lime juice; the Mai Tai did not have orgeat and included pineapple juice. Also, a bit pricey, around ¥2000 per cocktail. I really do not understand the 4.9 rating, as I experienced far better cocktail bars throughout my travels in Japan.

I have died and gone to heaven. This is an opportunity to drink superb cocktails, whilst at the same time be hu.bled to watch a maestro create unique drinks. The bar holds only 12 people ensuring you personal attention by the master.

Don’t be put off by the dingy elevator and stark hallway- you’ll see a wooden door. Push it open and you will be transported to a cottage in an enchanted forest. Tell the bartender what you like and they’ll make you something that will blow your mind. Trust me, I have been to some of the top ranked cocktail bars in London and NYC and this place ranks up there. Don’t miss it if you’re in Tokyo!

It’s on the second floor. The entrance is a narrow doorway. The outside signage says “b&f”. Also if it’s full there is no wait list so you might have to stand outside until there’s space. Nice enough bartenders

There are 2 bars in the same building.
The right one is at 9th floor and another is different concept bar at 2nd floor B & E. But both are good.

Wonderful and knowledgable staff. The staff were attentive and spoke english as well. They recommend perfect drinks for me (I'm very picky!)

Just got turned away (with no explanation), despite there being a few solo seats at the bar.this seems to be a common theme, looking at previous reviews.
The place looks cool tho, so bumped them up to one star for that.

We tried to go to this bar and although there weren't full the waiters didn't accept us (a couple) saying that was full. I am really disappointed and I can not understand the reason.only to be foriners maybe?

Herb Style Cocktail Bar. If I need a very free style cocktail, come this place and tell Mr. Kayama what taste you prefer.

Best cocktails in town. There are two bars operating under the B&F brand here, the original up top and the newer brandy inspired location a few floors down. Countless people rave about the bar having never ventured high enough to try the original. But both locations are good, with the top floor having the best ambience and more precise mixologist, and the lower floor having a more youthful and casual atmosphere.

No menu as the Mixologist creates your drink on the fly based on your spirit and mixer preference. Drinks are on average 1600 yen per drink.

友達と通りすがりに入ったお店ですが、こんないいお店があったのかと驚きました。お客さんは殆ど外国人で皆さんバーテンがリクエストに答えてオリジナルのカクテルを作ってもらっていて本当に美味しいと驚いていたり感動してました。私もリクエストした以上の美味しいカクテルを作って頂き嬉しかったです。

One of the best. I asked the bartender if he had my favorite type of absinthe and he pulled out a dozen bottles dating back to the 1800's. What a stunning collection.

Amazing cocktail experience, very personalized and certainly worth visiting. The staff is very friendly and the quality of the cocktails amazing. The price is comparable to other big cities like London and NY. Do not miss it if in Tokyo!

Inventive, custom made drinks. Try to get a seat at the bar so you can see the cocktails being made; they put on a great show. Cool looking bar, could be in a hunting lodge in Scotland! Definitely worth a visit. If the bar is full come back in 30min, they don't do queuing and we saw a few people turned away 10 min before we left.

Incredible cocktails. The bartender is truly a performer; it's a pleasure to see how he prepares each cocktail with extreme precision. He pulls out obscure tools and plucks fresh herbs from plants. He remembers his customers and is very friendly. He's fluent in English. There is no menu, but it's not necessary. You can figure out what to drink just by chatting with him.

Superb cocktails with a seemingly personalised service. Cocktails were inventive and consistently good. Prices also reasonable for quality. Service friendly and excellent also.
